I really like how they have implemented this.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.

I wonder how the price has changed n the last 24 hours of this find?

Anyone on NA & EU got prices for the Bevez and Frost at the moment?

Yesterday they were at 100 each for Bevez and 300 for Frost on the EU Server.

    NA
80-110 for Bervez and around 350 for Frost

Who knows when or if it will actually show up?

I wouldn't expect prices to change much until it hits test server.

Actually, the crown store version was discovered way before this one.
More information about it can be found on this thread and this one.

Yes, I know. However there was some backlash and the statement that "this is not the final version of this item", and while it's in the game code, it's not actually in the Crown Store yet.

So that's why I'm speculating that both items will go live at the same time, but they will not be the exact same thing. Remember the data-mined potion was for 1 hour, with 1 hour cooldown and it only worked for non-vet levels.

The solution isn't to add items to profit off of a bad experience. The solution is to streamline the leveling experience.

Leveling in general absolutely needs to be streamlined/veteran EXP required per rank reduced. The original concept of "it will take awhile to earn them, but they give access to great new gear and are harder to earn with most people needing to at least duo in these zones" per early interviews has long gone out the window, having been nerfed from a moderate solo challenge in difficulty to "as trivial as the starter zones" which were also nerfed, post-launch. At this point all the veteran levels act as are much lengthier levels to burn through, as they now give attributes, a skill point, etc. while being in zones that are no tougher than the regular level zones. The problem is merely, now, that they have much steeper EXP requirements to gain each level (1 million), which is completely out of line with the rest of the game, particularly since they nerfed down how much EXP as a percent of your level you gain from points of interest such as quest completions, world bosses, dolmens, public dungeons, and side quest locations, as well as the peak EXP you can earn from PVP in Cyrodiil, which has now left the only reasonably quick way of leveling as grinding mobs.

Other methods need to be brought up to how mob grinding is now, and then honestly, the EXP requirement should be chopped from 1 million each to 400,000 per veteran level. Boom, in one fell swoop, veteran levels are fixed... as you could do what you want to level feasibly, and the length of time you need to do that is vastly reduced. Grinding currently can earn you a veteran level roughly every two hours if you average it out across the entire span, excluding vendoring time (which is why I typically refer to it as 2.5 hours when asked in-game). That's at an averaged grinding rate if you include the vendoring time, of 200,000 EXP per hour right now. So essentially my suggestion is they make it take around two hours ;) per level and all other activities other than grinding are buffed significantly to be on par with grinding ;).

You are absolutely right, @LIonxoft. Don't get me wrong, I am much happier that they have picked a better path on the EXP potion debacle and they will/should still be added. At the same time, however, the solution to broken/non-enjoyable gameplay isn't to allow people to outright skip it, for cash or gold. It's to make it fun again. This needs to be done at the same time, because monetization of something fun is going to pay off... monetization of something people hate isn't going to go as well :).

    @Attorneyatlawl

Yeah, you'd think they would have added enough end game content to the game over a year later so they wouldn't have to use the veteran ranks as an excuse for content. I've been wrong before.

If the leveling experience was just your main 6.5 zones then it might be a little more tolerable but adding 10 more zones (not including starters or CH) is just absurd. It's like they want to give the illusion of things to do post lv50 to the console player just like they did to the PC players. It would probably be more profitable to - uh, add the end game content instead of putting up facades.

Makes me smh. Geez, so much smh.

It's not compatible with other food/drink so does that mean you would have to sacrifice your food/drink buff in order to utilize this? The crown store version doesn't require that from what I've seen.

According to the Recipe the OP put up, it is compatible with other foods/drinks, therefore you would not be sacrificing anything in order to use it, (other than time finding the perfect roe).

I am just glad I finally have a reason to use my stacks of 200 frost marjoram and bervez juice.

Here's a question I don't think anyone can answer yet: if we get this "Perfect Roe" from fishing in the first place, will it come out of the fishing holes directly, like the Fish Roe bait, or from filleting the fish?

And I hope Zeni has learned from the Nirncrux farmers to make this something you can get from ANY fishing hole, not just ones in a tiny section of one map...

Other than that my biggest concern is that the similarity of name between the Fish Roe bait and Perfect Roe will be a source of confusion among new players.

I hope fishing is a way of getting it, because it would seem silly if it wasn't, and it'd be nice to have a really good reward available for fishing.

Likewise here. And one of my guildies pointed out the following: if we COULD get this super rare ingredient from fishing, that will pretty much end the bad habit of players taking the alchemy ingredient and leaving the Worms...

According to the current item description, it does indeed stack with other food and drink bonuses. However, I think the real question would be if it stacks with the Crown experience booster.

Not really. You can do this for 25 quests only (max journal entries).

Then go do all of the crafting Writs...

Then go do some Cyrodil repeats which are fast
