Noticed this as well after the patch, also you can see in third person the positioning of the sword in hand is off/has changed since previous patch, very annoying.

Interesting fact that this bug is not just your visual error, but other people can also see that your shield is bugged.

Live with it for six months and be told everything from "We are looking into it", "it's a bug, but it's how we want it to work", it's working as intended, but will be fixed soon™"

Just to follow up, we plan to have this fixed in our next incremental patch (tentatively scheduled for Monday).

Lol. I noticed I was eating my shield like a sandwich and wondered if it was just me. I'm not really a tank but can tank anything and filled in for a couple guild runs this weekend. Since they like to blame add-ons I figured it was the FTC update causing the issue (jk).

Yeah,im having that issue too with all my chracters,hope it get fixed soon,you know,people pay for costumes.

Hating this bug too. Every time you enter another zone, you must dress another costume, then get off costume and then wear costume you need.. Or just stuck in battle for 2 sec when you get your in-combat status and dress off and on costume again. This is so annoying.
