    Just go to Cyodill.. oops forgot there are some little carebears who are sceered of the big bad zerg.... and want to chase around level 1s whispering constantly for a "dualll" rather than playing with the big boys.

    I'm in Cyrodiil every day, on multiple VR14s...come fight me.

    Unless you are AD of course, then we couldn't.

    And if by "big boys" you mean the fvcktards running around in a little ball spamming purge and steel tornado while giggling to each other on Teamspeak like little schoolgirls, then yeah I generally try to avoid playing with the "big boys."

    Probably because there is always a person in each and every online game that allows dueling once the duel is refused they still seem to /whisper and pester you and even after you say no thanks they will harass you. Even if ZOS added a on/off feature there will always be a person that will spam emotes /scared and follow you with with /bucket splash. Not to mention if you do decide to accept a duel and then lose they will most likely do /push-ups and /lol.

    If duels were only possible in specific places like a training area in Cyrodiil you wouldn't experience this issue

    I'd like to post with a caveat, though. Duels should take place within Fighters Guilds only to keep down the spell spam and to prevent random following/challenging (via random invite or chat).

    If it's not confined to Fighters Guild sparring floors, then I'd like spells to be full contact ... where a stray spell could potentially make the caster hit an NPC causing Guard enforcement. Down this line of reasoning, I'd also like sparring in front of guards to be a criminal offense - since they'd have no way of knowing (nor would they care) if both sides agreed to beat each other bloody.

    Considering that when you die in PvP it's usually in a matter of seconds, I really don't see the utility of dueling in this game.

    Knowing how to activate your skills and honing your ability to pvp are two very different things. You may not be interested in pvp or getting better at pvp, but for those of us that do like the pvp in this game and want to get good at it being able to duel with your friends would help tremendously. Its also a lot of fun of course.

    I actually don't really see much point in duelling connected to the justice system, although I wouldn't vote against if it was something people really wanted. Similarly, I don't understand why you are so keen on denying us a duelling system- especially if it were implemented in a way that didn't impact players that are not interested in duelling or who don't want to be spammed for duelling invites.

    I want more than just "faction" duels, they should stretch across all factions; as for the server lag why not make a separate zone for the PVP servers such as an Arena where friends across factions can meet up and battle to their hearts content. How about eventually then implementing betting (gold and crowns) and branching that sequence into a sports direction, not like a moba but an actual mmo e-sports event.... I'm thinking in the vein of an Ancient Rome coliseum.

    There should be an arena mode. 1v1 tournament

    At first when I heard about dragonstar arena I taught it will be something like that but I wretchedly dissapointed.
    You miss the lol button? It has been taken away for a reason. And the reason is how people used it for bash others who didn't share their opinion.

    I dont support, if they do duels, players learn too much of the game and start to whine nerfs/buffs. All it needs like 50 duel with your mates, and both classes's weaknesses and strenghts are found, then they come to the forum with details and tell Zen, why your game sucks.

    Whether it be like in SW:TOR where you select a player and challenge them to a duel anytime/anywhere or specific 1V1 Arenas in each zone, I'd be for it.

    Dueling sucked in every other MMO, and it would suck here too.

    Bunch over amped children running around trying to get someone to duel them,

    Along with the constant spam in, of course the high pop. area's that just takes away from the game.

    it changes the players from a healthy mix of adventurers and min-maxers, to 99% hardcore min-maxers. then everything becomes a numbers game. And the e-peen mentality... oh god....

    MAYBE, just maybe, if by default it's turned off. And it's limited to small spaces only. Like the Arena idea, wherever that went...

    But otherwise, big fat NO from me.
