    The block option just automaticaly declines the proposed duels and does not guaranteed that the guy will leave you at peace and not follow you for 10 minutes. The best option i think is special places, like small arenas, where you can enter and fight there...

    So many times I have been followed by a person I turned down a duel.... Naked dancing, killing all your mobs, friend requesting, group requesting, guild requesting, zone spamming, the list goes on and on just because I dont want to duel your VR14 toon with my level 35 one... Small arenas would be the key to this, so people who dont want to duel or be spammed can stay away, and add a duel channel so this wont be yelled or zoned:

    yes for duel and small scale pvp, cos crappy cyrodiil lagy for me. also we can see OP abilties and stop people who take adventage of these abilities and crying on the forums dont nerf us we are weak QQ

    I voted no, because duels are pathetic. And even more pathetic are people who request dueling every time you run past them, and then jump around you for 5 minutes because you refused.

    The game is not balanced for 1 vs 1 , it would just lead to endless nerf class x requests.

    Why do you have prejudices against people who like duelling?
    It's no fun at all to fight people who don't stand a chance against you, so why should I challenge pure pve players for a duel?
    I'd love to be able to have duels with the other members of my pvp guild and other people who like pvp and are in the same faction as me.

    if a game is not balanced for 1 vs 1 then probably those classes are adventegous on 1 vs X and thats totally BS

    Yes for all the reasons the OP mentions.

    Note that most of the people who have commented against duels give the reason they don't want to be harassed by players asking to duel them. This would be easily solved by providing a space for duels, such as a duel area in Cyrodiil, or as someone else mentioned in the fighters guild (nice idea).

    Some people of course want to duel everywhere, but if you can implement a much wanted feature for pvp players while eliminating the main complaint about that feature from pve focused players surely its a win-win.

    My friends and I would love to be able to duel and practice so we can learn to pvp better, its probably our most wanted feature.

    Nor does it guarantee that you won't be impacted by people duelling in the bank and other crowded places. So yes, if it's ever going to happen then it needs to be in special places such as arenas or guildhalls. However, it ought to be so low on the list of priorities as not to be a realisitic option in the foreseeable future.

    I signed in just to comment on this thread. YES YES YES YES. It literally makes me a little bit angry eevry time I log into this game just knowing that Cyrodil is the only PvP option. Duels is a FLIPPIN NO BRAINER!! There should have been at release:
    1. Cyrodil
    2. Arenas
    3. Duels
    The pve in this game is fine, but the PVP SUUUCKS because there's only one option! I don't always feel like doing cyrodil!!

    Easy to implement (at least, easier than other things people are asking for, like housing, more clases, etc.). Easy to ignore and something that give a lot of options for roleplay, for guilds(you can make something like "the fight club guild), for PvPers...

    I vote yes because I think it would be fun, but dread coming to town if it is ever implemented since everyone will be spammed by trolls.

    Having the possibility to pvp people from your own faction is a great idea and it should be in the game : justice system or faction-restricted arenas or just open pvp.

    It's just that we can't fight against our allies in Cyrodiil and it would be great if we could do so.

    A big YES from me, I want to be able to test builds and duel my friends, having to ride around on a horse going to a keep then getting blown up by siege does not make a good test.

    Yes but only with these two:

    - Duels can only happen outside city walls into the world

    - For people who dont want to duel , option to disable dueling would be provided
    If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

    Yes, definitely

    Why not make those duel possible within an "Arena" located in every major cities?
    The arena would be instanciated by group, so one duel does not affect the other.

    Anyway, yes .. I don't favor PVP, but duels are great fun to be had with friends.
