I want one of those annoying children from Fable.
You know the one that comes calling "Dad, Dad, Dad, your back, did you bring me a present." every time I port to a town.

I wonder how many of the people who voted Bo voted that way just because of the highly entertaining typo (and the accompanying entertaining explanation that BO means NO), and how many of them voted Bo because they actually don't want children added to ESO?

I voted Bo because everything should be killable. But as the world is shaped children belong to it, even to ESO, benefit or no benefit. Doesn't matter. And when thinking about children in ESO it leads to personal houses, designing rooms, ...

Yes, as long as it takes the New Vegas approach: the kids are nice to the player and mostly just hang out in the background. I really like kids IRL but the Jarl's kids in Whiterun were the worst. Spoiled little boogers.

(The cute lil ghost in Grahtwood is the best character in ESO.)

@Davadin If I'm not mistaken, the main reason people wanted to kill children in Skyrim was this character: http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20121021003044/elderscrolls/images/1/16/Nelkir.png

Too many players run around in their underwear performing emotes for the sake of lewdness for me to feel comfortable with child NPCs being in game as their potential targets.
Perhaps some people are comfortable with such ideas though, and feel that children being unkillable is all that is needed. Do not agree with such people. Unkillable children would not be sufficient, children being completely absent is the best course of action.

Applaud ZOS for not implementing child NPCs.

They add to the immersion. They just make the world seem more "real" (even if they can be annoying with their comments, but how fun/cute when they run around playing!)

A must is, though, that there should be children in every race - not just humans, like in Skyrim. So when you're in dunmer territory there are dunmer children, and when you are in khajiit territory there are khajiit children, etc

"it takes a community to raise a child" - someone whose name i know not

The only two children that bothered me in Skyrim were Braith (she bullied my kids) and Nelkir (the little boy in the castle who told me to lick his father's boots for being a wanderer.)

The socially-acceptable course of action for dealing with them is as follows:
Kill Braith's parents, she will be sent to the orphanage and never bully your kids again.
Help the Stormcloaks overthrow Whiterun, the Jarl loses his position and his children will be forced to grow up in poverty most likely as wanderers.

Children were worthwhile addition to Skyrim -- Personally even got mods to let me adopt up to 6 children as well as mods adding other races of children to the game.
What's that? Khajiit are not allowed in the cities in your province?
Well, now the Dragonborn that you all love so much is raising Khajiit children in your cities. Deal with it.

Adamantly do not want child NPCs in ESO though. In Skyrim it worked because there was no one else playing who could be harassing them -- in ESO this sort of activity is too commonplace for me to feel comfortable with the prospect.
