i bought this game and now when i launch to do updates it gets to *% without downloading anything and then says HTTP request failed, why is it doing this i have tried disabling my anti virus and fire wall but same result over and over 0.0kb/s....

Check to make sure that either Windows Defender is turned off or has an exception for the ESO.EXE file. Do the same for your anti-virus program. If you've done that, check the link provided by @Ageless above for more help.
Go into your zenimax online folder, launcher folder. Create a desktop shortcut from the Bethesda.net_Launcher.exe or double click it. Run a repair from game options. Try launching after doing the fore mentioned.
