(BUG) Giant Problems

I'm currently on the quest "Giant Problems" and It seemed to be going perfectly fine until I got to the objective "Wait for Skorvild", it seems to be no matter how long I wait Skorvild never seems to show up; I've waited now for awhile and I keep fighting the exact same hostile NPCs (Giants and Wolves) who have re-spawned just to spend the time productively. Even while writing this I've got the game running minimised to inform you of the issue. Also earlier in the quest I got the option to either (SPOILERS) eat Giant meat, or to refuse (/SPOILER); I went with eating the meat as I was allured by the power it may provide.

Now I haven't got stood up in real life and I don't want it to start in a video game, so could you please fix this; It's awfully lonely in the high snowy mountains of Skyrim.
