Not entirely sure how I feel now that the population in the campaign has had time to grow and settle at the current numbers. It is nice having more than one raid a faction and it is becoming more interesting with all these new players, but, any idea whose leading those DC tower farms? I can stand large groups/zerging, but those I feel belong in the vet campaigns only.

That hour long DC defense at ash last night against two factions while at 2 bars was amazing. I was glad to be a part of it.
R.I.P wren. We mourn your transition to that dark, abominable place known as vet pvp.
I'm thinking of coming back to Non-Vet, but will EP welcome me or just bash me again??
My only gripe, and I say only as I really like the spirit of competition in blackwater, it's the Emp farming. I watched a fellow AD get his mates from opposing factions to line up like lemmings while he poured oil on them.

It must be nice having mates in opposing factions to do that. I had to work for mine in there over two solid days of play at reset!

Yup, agreed. The Emp title should be something earned, that AD scumbag (i'm AD, I can say that) was having his mates in another faction bath in his oils was a low act on a non-vet server. It's a low act on any server, but non vet? Come on!
By comparison, Ganja and Tenzi (even if they are both DC scum) worked there collective tails off to both get Emp in one campaign. Granted, both good players which helps and together they are formidable (If you saw Tenzi's emp bats, it looked like 1.5 all over again. Classic!) yet they did put in the hard yards and I know personally that Ganja was very much sleep deprived.

Tenzi, Ganja, and a wonderful group of people helped me. Was a blast, and my first crowning. Way too excited, yet sleep deprived for sure. Seriously the best PvP I've had in this game has been playing in this campaign.
I'm really sad about what happened to Blackwater Blade. The charm about the campaign was it's chaos. The chaos is gone, and now there are just vet PVP guilds flipping it in between. It's insanely frustrating and I miss what Blackwater once was. When getting emperor felt like an insane achievement and you were genuinely terrified of people with that title on.

I am curious as to why it is so bothersome for some that some of us Vet players have moved to BwB to pvp...We are all simply players looking for good pvp. This is my 4th round (2nd Char) of non-vet pvp and I am still enjoying BwB.

Yeah its pretty stupid what the emp picture has become on blackwater.
Gone are the days of week long reigns from people that actually hardcore played the campaign vs OP guards with no battle leveling superbuilds... the days when there were less than 3 emps crowned in a months time. Hell, i remember when there was a five week gap with no emp because no one could crown, the campaign was so balanced.
Now, its all organized guilds from vet campaigns trading emp back and forth. They even flip factions back and forth to do it. And they intentionally prevent others from being emp if they arent part of their little inner circle. I have seen some of the most useless emps ever crowned there just because they were farming passives for a toon destined for purely vet play on chillrend.
Such a sad state of affairs now.
