That's to bad to hear they are bringing those lame tactics to BWB, guess some folks will not be happy until they ruin every campaign, some people never learned the golden rule of pvp, it has got to be fun on both sides of the keyboard, granted fun is different from person to person, but when it is not fun for a large group of people they stop playing.. /sigh

Tower farming has occurred on all sides. I too am becoming disgusted by such tactics.

infinite resource builds, tower farms, meteor, one shot wonder builds, and all that garbage, should stay in the vet servers. It would be nice if all the vet players coming back would keep that filth out of BWB so BWB can remain a fun campaign

Finally hopped on my alts on this campaign (DC side) and have realized it's a ton of fun. My main is only VR8 so still not quite where he needs to be in order to be competitive in his home campaign.

Everytime someone uses Meteor in Blackwater Blade, a kitten dies.

I got hit with Meteor last night, didn't die thankfully so I made a bee line to the caster and killed him. I will do that everytime, if I see anyone using Meteor, you will be tab targeted and you will die. Period!

Thankfully there are not a lot of players who use meteor in non-vet. This reason is why i dont believe the game is ready for turning of exp gains. It would ruin non vet to have players be able to fully min/max with abilities like meteor.

It's not just the lag free environment, or the longer TTK that I'm enjoying.

It's the constant leveling and improvement with your toon that I'm finding refreshing, especially compared to my VR14 that has been VR14 for many, many months.

Also because of the battle leveling, you end up with a hybrid build so to speak. That allows so much freedom to change your toon just with gear, sets and the like very easily. You don't need to tip into a respec because you want to try something different.

Nice work mate, watching your DK emp in full swing with your bats up was hilarious, not quite the perma bats of 1.5 but pretty damn close to it. Loved it!

You and Ganja killed it last night, in the 1 hour long fight outside fare, the Emp Tenzi died what, once? And killed so so many. Loved it brah, although the DC you were with melted after you died, fun times.

Yeah its pretty stupid what the emp picture has become on blackwater.

Gone are the days of week long reigns from people that actually hardcore played the campaign vs OP guards with no battle leveling superbuilds... the days when there were less than 3 emps crowned in a months time. Hell, i remember when there was a five week gap with no emp because no one could crown, the campaign was so balanced.

Now, its all organized guilds from vet campaigns trading emp back and forth. They even flip factions back and forth to do it. And they intentionally prevent others from being emp if they arent part of their little inner circle. I have seen some of the most useless emps ever crowned there just because they were farming passives for a toon destined for purely vet play on chillrend.

Such a sad state of affairs now.

Tenzi, Ganja, and a wonderful group of people helped me. Was a blast, and my first crowning. Way too excited, yet sleep deprived for sure. Seriously the best PvP I've had in this game has been playing in this campaign.

It's insanely frustrating and I miss what Blackwater once was. When getting emperor felt like an insane achievement and you were genuinely terrified of people with that title on.

I dono if there are guilds on AD and EP doing that, but the DC players that have been getting emp have worked hard for it.

I am curious as to why it is so bothersome for some that some of us Vet players have moved to BwB to pvp...We are all simply players looking for good pvp. This is my 4th round (2nd Char) of non-vet pvp and I am still enjoying BwB.

I believe, at least in my opinion, is that vet players bring their pvp mentality down to the non-vet campaign. And it isn't necessarily the heavy focus on optimized builds or access to a larger amount of resources (both of which are fairly noticeable), but the kind of gameplay you see in non-vet. I've been in non-vet for a while and as time has gone on the differences between the vet and non-vet campaigns have been reduced and the kind of charm that bwb had has kind of gone with it. The increased populations after the title update did alter the campaign a lot but it isn't the only thing changing non-vet this way.

I think this is the saddest thing I've heard all week. Emp trading does not belong anywhere near the kiddie campaign, for so many reasons. Yes, I am a vet player who likes to play on BWB, but I play there with a small group of friends when we are sick of the imbalances and the lag in the vet campaigns. Lately, I've thought it was the fact that AD and DC were finally taking out their rage on EP that was keeping us from being able to get anything reasonably done on the EP side. Now, I'm not so sure. If there are vet guilds ensuring that only a select number of people can get emp on BWB, it makes sense how BWB has fallen into something of a rut.

Look, BWB is the learning campaign. It is up to us vet players to help people who are new to the game, and new to pvp in general learn how to stratagize. If a faction is going to lose, they need to lose for the right reasons (ie, not because a vet guild is on their lowbies trading emp).

What does it even matter tho- it's not like the people doing this are going to care what I have to say. They will do what they're going to do with no regard to the new players, with no regard to other members of their faction (I have noticed this trend, tho I haven't pinpointed which guilds in which factions are causing the most trouble for the rest of the players in BWB).

I hope you're proud of yourselves- no one else is.
