Non-vet campaign armor/skill/stat bugs

There seems to be a bug in the non-vet campaign where 1) armor does not change spell/physical resistances (so I have the same resistances naked or in full heavy armor), 2) the NB passive shadow barrier does not work, and 3) armor/gear bonuses are not being properly applied to stats.
I took a video showing the issue, there is no sound but you can see the change (or lack of it) when I take off gear/use a skill that should trigger shadow barrier.
