Playing ESO on a very old Windows XP Pro SP3 machine?

Hello.

Is it worth trying to download and play this huge game onto my very old Windows XP Pro SP3 machine, with 2.5 GB of RAM and ATI Radeon 4870 video card (512 MB of VRAM), connected to an 22" 1080p monitor?

According to the minimum system requirements, your machine should be able to run the game at the lowest quality settings. But keep in mind that the game, like all MMOs, keeps getting developed, and hardware demands will only rise. Systems at the low end will always be the first to lose support.

Is it worth it? That depends...

But as long as you're exposing a discontinued operating system, which hasn't had security updates for over a year now, to the Internet, lack of graphics quality and performance should be your least concern.
