Guys, discuss the matter, dont make a fool out of zenimax, i want an update or useful information im being dead serious here. I've never came across a game that had lags this worse, not even partially.

1.) The developers are fairly confident they can solve the problem.
2.) It means re-engineering core functions of the game's networking.
3.) They don't know how long it will take.
4.) Marketing asks them to remain silent.
Any developer acknowledgement that the game has core issues still being worked on will kill sales and turn gamers away from the game permanently, because gamer's don't understand that software is never "complete" and it very likely will be ironed out. They know literally nothing about their own hobby. Since we, as a demographic, aren't intelligent or informed enough to have that conversation, ZoS can't have it.
Planetside 2 went though a phase like this also. Actually, heh, most of Sony's MMO's have. The early NCsoft games did, but sine then they'e been re-using a lot of back-end is my guess. WoW did.

But let's be real here, it's intermittent. One second you're posting 120-200 ping, which is actually amazing for an MMO like this and even 250 ping would be playable; the next it spikes to over 900. Then it goes right back.
It's definitely some issue with the game's design, not just typical server failure which would be much more all-or-nothing. It's a really challenging issue to solve, possibly the most challenging thing you can attempt to design in game terms.
Re: 1) above. If that's a statement, then please share when ZOS made it as I've never heard them speak to there confidence in resolving PvP lag with anything other than "oops" and "we're working on it" and "in the meantime it'll be less if you spread out".houimetub17_ESO wrote: »ZoS are like ducks in a pond.

I have been playing ESO sense the beta and all I have been seeing is an increase in over all speed sense the last few updates. I play a vr14 NB in Thornblade almost every day after work and on the weekends. My network connection by today’s standards is by no means overkill it is mid grade Comcast biz connection at 75 down 15 up. My computer is on the high end but I don’t think this is a reason I am not experiencing any lag whatsoever.

It has nothing to do with ur connection, its a server sided issue. It's on EU. If you're playing on EU and u didnt experience lag on thornblade, I have no idea how.
But i guess ur on NA

We don't know how to fix it, please play in smaller groups.
