Crashing on 'Play'

JNight
JNight
Spent two days downloading the game. Last time i had around 150mb left, i had to close the launcher then upon relaunch, it was downloading the whole game again. This is what i did after:
  1. Made a copy of the depot folder.
  2. Uninstalled the game.
  3. Reinstalled the launcher, then started downloading again, paused and quit.
  4. Replaced the depot folder with the old one, then launched again and repaired.
  5. After repair, was downloading the game again. Closed the launcher.
  6. Relaunched, and it was downloading from 150mb again just fine.

After that, it started to download a 6gb~ patch, then installation was done and i can click Play now.. but the game crashes after that. I only get a blank white EOS game window then a crash report. I checked the game folder and saw that it's only 12gb in size, so i repaired the game again and then it started redownloading everything again. I closed it down, checked the directory and saw that it changed to 40gb.

Now, whenever I launch the launcher, i can still only see Play. i tried to repair again but the same thing happened; it just starts downloading 31gb of data again. And if i click Play, the same crash occurs. I've never been a fan of downloading entire games online for these damn reasons, so i'd rather not waste my time downloading the game over and over.

This is getting irritating because i just bought the game for myself and my gf, and was excited about getting into it. Please help.
