Game crashes A LOT (need help to reinstall)

Hi,

2 problems - might be connected or not. I cannot log in with my main character. Game crashes every 5-15 mins, ESO has stopped working and the crash report prompt appears.

I have ticketed my issues and they are working on... sloooow. So any input here?

What I would really like is a step-by-step guide to COMPLETELY remove the game and I will install it completely fresh. Any other ideas are welcome.

PS. it is not addons and I have tried just about every gfx configuration.

Try to delete or rename files usersettings.txt and ShaderCache.cooked
you'll find them in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live or liveeu for eu server.
Also, delete or rename folder SavedVariables
try to run game.

Thanks - but I need to REMOVE the game, not some files. Technical support thinks it is a corrupted asset. Whatever that is.

Why not use native Programs & components to remove it?

I did use it, but it seems only the launcher is removed. I still has direct shortcut and game runs still

Try there launch Uninstall The Elder Scrolls Online.exe

ok, that looks different for me. I have no file called Uninstall The Elder Scrolls Online.exe

Open the launcher, click on the Game Options and select uninstall.......

This is what ZOS have recommended in the past, to completely remove the game....

When you have done that, run something like CCleaner to clean up anything left in the registry

Thanks for the input - there is no uninstall option in in the launcher.. It most be possible to uninstall the game?

Anyone?
