Seri✭✭✭✭260-320ms is about the norm for me. 400+ during larger PvP battles. Makes aiming puncturing sweep a little more tricky, particularly against bouncy people. Always nice when you can still put up a decent fight against those you know are US opponents though.EP CP160+ Templar, Sorc, NB

Valymer✭✭✭✭✭I am currently testing Battleping to see if it helps reduce latency. I was skeptical at first but it does seem to reduce my latency from Japan to the NA server by a significant amount:
Without BP:
Latency to BP server in Texas (same state as the NA game server):
With BP active:
The difference might seem insignificant to some, but believe me every little bit helps--particularly in PvP.
Sometimes the reduction in latency is even more pronounced, but this is what it is at this moment for me while standing in Alik'r.
Interestingly I am picking up almost 50 ms of latency from the Battleping proxy server to the NA game server. This latency number that is displayed in-game is a little misleading, though, because it isn't a simple ping but also includes the amount of time it takes for the server to process information and send it back to me. I don't know but ~150 ms to travel around the world and 50 ms to travel a couple hundred miles in Texas just doesn't add up to me. Game server latency seems to be pretty significant.1
