We have an "Avoid killing innocents" option, it'd be nice to have an avoid stealing option as well. For those times when you're not interested in crime, but there's items right on top of the crafting table..

Sometimes even the most careful player will run into a hostile monster by accident (and sometimes they get killed by this), but we do not allow players to toggle off hostility. That would be quite odd, right?
I'm sorry, are you literally claiming that having a player's character choose to pick up and pocket an item against the wishes of that player is an intended element of difficulty?
Or, put another way, are you quite literally claiming that the poor design choices in effect here are only to screw over players?

Happened to me too... Thank god my inventory was empty...
As for Gamerz idea. I only wait for those who scream "IMMERSION BREAKING!!!!". Would be helpful though.

Either way. I believe its a learning experience. And I bet it won't happen again to you, after the first time.

Immersian breaking is when you go to talk to a a merchant but then some other random npc guy pushes you and you "miss" the merchant and accidently grab his carrot.
@Messy1 , ah, the reverse pickpocket...Lol it would be funny if they added a skill to the Legerdemain skill line called "Plant" and you could plant stolen merchandise on another player ahahaha

Off topic - I really wish they'd fix the bank menu interface so that you don't have to back out of talking to the banker and talk to them again if you want to use the guild bank or guild store.
Yes, if it goes in the pocket, but it should be a two part process (like it was in oblivion).firstdecan wrote: »There should not be a toggle for this. It should be like real life, where when I talk to a cashier or wander into a stranger's home items in my field of vision mysteriously appear in my pocket.
