can't see banker NPCs sometimes

I'm not sure if it's my laptop, running game on off(shadows, water reflections, grass and such) to high(subsampling, textures) mixed settings but sometimes game have some problems loading NPCs in crowded areas...
It's very annoying in main city banks and such, can you, please, add extra banker staff and spread them out in bank a bit more if possible?
Places like bank of Daggerfall is currently biggest problem for me, there is about 10% chance for npc to load...
Repair client/reloadui didnt' solve problem.

Are you sure your looking in the right place in Daggerfall? Angier Stower has this habit of crouching down low to poke around in crates now near the back of the bank. With a crowd of NPCs around, hard to see her. It's even worse when there are no NPCs around to show me where to to look.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Same thing for me. I am usually see it first time, but go out of the bank and in 2-3 times and you will lose her.

Logging out and back in should fix it.

    I feel your pain....

I think another resolve is to do something so that the bankers can't be blocked.
Ya know like in games like WoW where the NPC is either on a pedestal or behind something that we can't get behind or around or on top of.

I don't follow...you mean like I'd be the only player ever in s room with a banker?
That can't happen as bankers are not all in s room with doors that load

I doubt Daggerfall bank will get less crowded, as that's where most people's mules are parked. The starter city bank. No matter the faction, those starter city banks are going to be full.

I encountered this for the first time today. I spoke to Angier Stower in Daggerfall, left the bank, and when I came back she was missing. I tried /reloadui and also left and re-entered the bank and she's still missing. I see a crowd around where she should be, but she's not interactable or visible for me. I did not try relogging, which would probably fix it. I just logged into another toon instead. I had a guildmate comment on this same issue a few days ago. Even when I have trouble finding her, I usually can move the mouse around until her name pops up on the cursor and then interact with her, but she was MIA this time. Submitted a bug report.

EDIT: Some banks have more than one banker, but afaik, Angier Stower is the only one in the Daggerfall bank, which is a very busy bank. She's going to have a talk with the labor union or quit I think. Oh, I almost forgot; she's working double shifts at the Hollow City bank too! :D

Had same problem this morning a Daggerfall, perhaps Angie went looking for the lines they cut from her introduction.

I'm sure we will appreciate it when she finds them ...

This has been happening since the conversion to ESOTU. Especially with Angie in Daggerfall.

I've been having this problem for a good few weeks, actually probably when I started a month and a half ago, but I didn't pay too much attention and still learning the game.

Pretty much everyone is standing around the banker, but sometimes the banker isn't there, BUT you know where the banker is because everyone is making a big circle around "the missing banker" although they probably can see the banker.

I think some people can see the banker and some people cannot see the banker. Something to do with individual client, but NOT there computer. Its not a zone bug if you ask me, its more like a client side bug, as in bug gear towards an individual, but not there computer fault. Hard to explain what I'm talking about. Individual problem, not a problem for everyone, its like the banker gets culled "doesn't show but is there" for some people... Those people that do see banker, probably had to zone and rezone like others mentioned, and now see the banker. I think this effects everyone, but more rampant if you run low settings? I run lowest settings because I don't like my laptop fan going crazy. That's no excuse for the banker to be missing though. In GW2 all the NPCs show ALL the time, doesn't matter if 200 people are in the zone, ALL the NPCs show ALL the time like I expect this current generation of gaming to happen, I run that game lowest settings too. But again, I think problem happens for everyone, but its not an issue with the zone, some people can see the banker and some may be unlucky and not see the banker.

Same thing happens with the woodworking station in daggerfall too.

I know people say "if ya zone out and zone back in, it should fix it" YES it does fix it.
But do you know how ANNOYING it is to zone out and zone back in... When you shouldn't have to do that in the first place.

This is like 5th or 6th generation of gaming, problems you seen in early games shouldn't be in the newer games, especially when the people that make them are considered the best game makers in there industry. Someone who works for ESO is pretty much considered a lot more skilled than someone making some random indy game or something. It's my expectation that problems like this shouldn't exist, and if they do that they get fixed in a timely manner, like in a week at MOST.

Stuff like this makes or breaks the game. A good game, people wont be complaining about actual bugs in the game, they'll complain more about not enough content, or so and so is over powered in PvP. Stuff that isn't bug related, but when you have MULTIPLE threads EVERYDAY about ACTUAL bugs that have been ongoing for a long time, that's just not acceptable.

Especially when the word on the street about this game is that, ESO is a buggy mc bug house game. And that's what the word was 11 months ago. When someone complains like that, the best move is to solve the problem, get rid of bugs. Negative feedback is the best feedback, because it feels more real, and when you fix the problem, your suppose to go on there social media or wherever and announce, we have fixed those problems, please come try the game again....

More people will believe the negative comments over the positive comments that's why they are the best feedback, and when you respond back in a positive manner and resolve the issue, that shows how good of a company you are, and people will give your product, this game a try. Hence why negative comments are the best feedback.

But if you just let the bugs remain, that's bad for business!!!

the problem was update 6, it changed game file to default, to fix this you need to change those:
    1) my documents > ESO > live(liveeu) > userSettings line '' SET GraphicsDriver.7 "D3D9" '' to '' SET GraphicsDriver.7 "D3D11" '' to use DX11
    2) run game in compatibility with Windows7 and as a administrator

some other problem in case you're experiencing problems with addons, causing crashes and weird things this might help:
    3) path same as above 1) line '' SET LuaMemoryLimitMB "64" '' change into '' SET LuaMemoryLimitMB "128" '' or higher(x2, x4 etc to utilize more ram for addons)

Yes same, Daggerfall. Happens to me every now and then. I have to relog.

This goes hand in hand with slow-loading textures that I see in Daggerfall. Sometimes I will walk into a building and everything is invisible, other times it takes a good minute or so for stair textures to show up. NPC's also don't show up instantly. This did not occur last year.

    Not a bug...

If you think back (presuming you've been playing a while), it was not unusual to freeze when coming into major populated areas or hitch severely as information was fed to your PC/client as to the locations/actions/appearances of other players and NPCs. Scripts had to be loaded; textures had to be loaded; animations had to be started; etc.

Well, all that still happens; however, they've changed the sequencing. So, you may go into one of the larger buildings (like the Mages Guilds in the three factions' main cities) and you'll see furniture floating around in the air, missing wall textures, NPCs appearing on the second floor -- but there's no floor -- and so forth. If you wait a little bit, everything will appear.

And the freezing and hitching is 90% gone.

    I can live with that.

It appears that NPCs with more complex scripts are loaded last. That's why you may not see bankers for a bit. You don't need to /reloadui or log out/back in. Just wait a bit and they'll appear. At least that's been my experience.

It helps to turn down your graphics to Medium when in the big cities; other than character faces, you're not really going to see much difference. If you're using High or Ultra, you'll have to wait even longer for all the graphical objects to be loaded in.

This issue is still occurring on a regular basis on the PC European Server even after the graphics engine upgrade for DLC Thieves guild. Most annoying.

Sometimes you have to wait for npcs to load up, lots of players in the banks. When they add the bank assistant you will see players not crowding the banks like they are now. Thus it would spread them out.
From what I know you can use another players banking assistant, so yeah I bet some players are going to be standing at another players assistant and probably be upset if those players move on lol.
