ZOS: About Alleged lag abusers.

Can we get a confirmation if certain players on other factions are purposely lagging out the server by means of exploit? or is it just straight server incapability. I am of the opinion that it is not coming from players directly but server inability. Please give us the official word so people can get over the myth of player induced lag.

Thank you, I'm glad some one has some sense when it comes to these things. We may be enemies in Cyrodiil, but we shouldn't be pointing fingers at each other here.

not gonna happen. ZoS wont admit nothing. Everyone should come to terms with that and if the lag gets to bad just reset the router. That is their official stance.

You won't get a solid answer on the forums, has even if they don't name names, it falls into other areas of the rules and codes and under the punishment not being allowed to be talked about even if its in wide strokes like asking if such a exploit exists and if it can be confirmed people use it....given most already knew who is being accused of it

Well I actually talked to them that day and that was not a 24 man they were running, most of the time they have 16 or less.

If ZOS admits the lag is player based, then they are also tacitly admitting their own failures to enforce the rules.

So you can rest assured ZOS isn't likely to comment at all.

That being said, it's pretty clear to everyone who isn't obsessed with forum QQ because they're sore losers that the lag is server based. So let's get on with it already.

Numerous posts have been made by ep players claiming they were asked to participate in lagging the server, causing crashes to roll back scrolls or keep takes, etc. Numerous posts have been made by members of a DC guild who claim their former leader, who defected to EP, used to encourage them to lag the server and do all of the above as well. Said player sees this tactic as "necessary evil" to win. Numerous posts exist on this forum of people, and more daily come in, claiming any contact with said guild results in game instability and crashing, freezing and lagging. What more does ZOS need to at least investigate? Is it the server? Gee, yes it is the server they are exploiting. Is it the freeways fault when someone road rages and wipes out a dozen innocent lives?

I don't see IR around in Thorn too much lately, havoc still runs groups but what confused me is there are other guild who run much bigger raids than havoc but somehow the "lag" is caused by havoc alone.

I am a legit player in VE, but you better believe when I run with Havoc I commit. It's hard to lag a server with 16 people, so I have to put on a lag tabard, dye my clothes Lag Server White, and load up the Lagmaker 9000 on my desktop.

It's a lot of work, but they're great guys and I want to contribute. Great to be part of a winning team! I luv u all.

LoL I am sure the dye of your clothes has as much to do with the lag as havoc causes. I had the pleasure of watching you duel once or twice you are a good player. I have the utmost respect for you.
