Error 210

I was doing the final quest for the Fighters Guild yesterday where I have to throw the weapon against the...blob, to destroy it. As I did, my game crashed majorly. I had to run the repair once and then I could get back online. Yet when I logged out after THAT, ive had to run the repair 3 times yesterday with the same result. Error 210. I thought I would give it a rest so I tried today again. Same issue. I repair and get 210 - PatchManifestError_DownloadFail. I can say that ive not had this much issue with the game before. I run windows 7 on a modern PC, my firewall is not blocking anything. So what could be the problem? Any way to fix it? Also, its not by Steam.

Ok i went into the Launcher and selected GameConsulted and ran a test. I did nothing else. Now when i went back to my game launcher, the word PLAY is now highlighted. I am not sure if this somehow fixed the issue, but it seems to work now by doing so.

Was roaming the forum while waiting, and ran into this. Irony is...seems to be the very same for me. I can see the Play button now. Trying it out.

Right...seems I am in, even if the character loading screen took its time to load for some reason. Yet, I am sure the issue with the launcher will remain as this is a dejavu for me since yesterday.

Which then leads me to believe that the game itself is working as it should indeed, but it is the Launcher that is blocking it or beeing a numpty.

I started another thread regarding this Error 210. Seems like quite a few of us are getting it. I don't use Steam though. I think its just the launcher on ZoS end. Ive been having the Repair error throughout the day. I finally managed to get it but now the Error 210 is back. My husband got the same issue as well.

I had the same thing first thing this morning. I followed the advice here:

    https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22414/

However, I was still getting really intermittent network issues with being able to contact the servers or download the patch manifest.

I rebooted my broadband router and fingers crossed it's ok now.

You guys might want to check the official help for the manifest error. Try to download the manifest yourself and place it in the folder pointed out in the help: WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I RECEIVE A "PATCHMANIFESTERROR_DOWNLOADFAIL" ERROR MESSAGE: “PATCHMANIFESTERROR_DOWNLOADFAIL”?

    Don't do this.

The replacement of the "play" button by "repair", "update" or "install" after the game has been fully patched is common for a couple of days or so after each patch, and it is accompanied by the "Manifest Error 210" window. It represents a bug and usually clears a couple of days after each patch. All you need to do is close and re-open the launcher until the "play" button appears as normal. Alternatively, you can run the game with the ESO application file in the game folder.

DO THIS because this *** actually works. i was getting the 210 error. i tried placing the patch manifest with no luck. then i deleted the programdata folder that is in the launcher folder for eso started the game. again and after a repair and some downloading everything worked again.

After doing their fix, I had to restart the launcher 2-3 times, but then it worked flawlessly.
