Pet Interaction

SO I was sitting at a wayshrine trying to figure out what to do. Then I heard my pet the house cat from the crown store meow then it got me thinking. Why can't I use a command or something to pet her or feed her. So my question is do you guys want to ask ZoS to add in some sort of pet interaction system where we can feed them or pet them or just lay down and cuddle with them.

I totally agree. I have the dune hound dog and I thought the exact same thing.
It's a shame the dog doesn't even bark or do anything >.>

I agree too. It's so disappointing that the pets stay far behind your character so that most of the time you don't even see the pet. I wish my pets at least ran along side of my characters. To actually interact with them would be a real treat.

I really just don't care, and I felt like voting in this biased poll. Obvious bias is obvious, especially with what you wrote in the parenthesis.

If it doesn't take too much development time I'd love to have a /pet command that allows one to stroke the head of the nearest animal so others can pet my dog too. She'd like that.

But fixing broken things should come first.

At least make the pets able to keep up with our speed when running about. Like letting the mount speed "riding lessons" affect them too.

Would like my pets to at least seem to be fighting when my character is in a fight. It's removes from immersitivity, when I see my dog just staring at my character, while he's struggling to eliminate a group of enemies.

No dog would just idly sit by and stupidly watch such acivity.

Wouldn't even care that the pet was doing no real damage, but would like to see the dog in the fight.

Petting, feeding, throwing a ball, teaching it tricks, not having it disappear when I get in the water.

I don't think our pets need to participate in battles. I don't particularly want to have to rez my pet after every fight.

As I wrote, just would like to see the pet fighting ... if the pet is doing no damage, I've no issue with it. It's very unrealistic to see the pet just standing there like a stuffed animal, while your character is struggling for his or her life.

Could you imagine a dog just sitting there staring at you, if you were attacked by a group of thugs on the street?

This would be awesome, but mostly, I would just like my pet not to disappear on me all the time.
