A few more inventory improvements

Here are a few suggestions that should be implemented. :)

Trophys
Trophys awarded from quests should get their own tab like mounts and pets do. (I have quite a few.)

Guild bank
When depositing items into a guild bank it should stack with items already in the guild bank. Also make it so you can restack while in the guild bank tab. And so you can split stacks. (Players taking stacks of 200 and forgetting to put back for others.)

Guild store
Make it so people can buy a certain amount of items from someones stack. Someone needs 5 apples. Finds a guild merchant with someone selling 200 apples.
Thats a lot of apples.

Thats all I got so far. If anyone else has suggestions post them below and If they are reasonable I will edit them onto this post. :)

    It wouldn't make the game better. Either the game can change, or you can and one of these options is free on terms of labor hours for the developers. I would rather attention be given to areas that really need it. The Inventory system is total garbage and we all know it, but the devs are dead set on it.

    Not gonna change.

    I wouldn't mind Trophies being moved to their own slot and not taking up space - though I don't get enough of them to notice.

    You misunderstand. trophys take up bag space. They shouldn't. Addons don't give more bag space.

    I agree, I think dismissing it out of hand is pretty poor too. The inventory does need additional work, how can I tell? There are so many addons for it. Everyone knows there's an inventory problem and they all come up with their own fixes. Some stuff however can't be fixed by an addon, including what to do with trophies and disguises.

    Not to mention consoles can't use addons.
    Allow cross-platform transfers and merges

    Yeah I will be playing the console version a lot since I will have a ton of friends playing it with me. But the lack of addons will make the game even more different. I will probably end up transferring my character just to have friends follow me for all the skyshards and lorebooks.
    Oh and the economy will completely change too since we wont have master merchant to see if we are getting ripped off or not.

    That's a biggie actually. Don't think I could trade anywhere near as effectively without my master merchant addon to give me price guidelines.

    Its a big reason a regular AH is needed since it lets players create a more organized economy instead of the current chaotic system it has now.

    I don't agree with that, my reasons are littered all over the forum :)

    But an improved inventory system is something I can get behind, and at least they began taking steps in that direction with 1.6

    Lol as a crafter I find my bank and inventory constantly full. There are more ingredients than space. Especially when I have Trophys, and other items. But hey, thank you for your opinion.

    This one I absolutely disagree with. If someone is selling 200 apples, they are giving you a bulk discount. You shouldn't be able to buy 5 apples and still pay the same price. You are not freeing a store slot for the vendor to list something else, after all.

    Yes. This happened because of an exploit at launch where people could restack and get duplicate stacks of Gold Tempers and such. Past time to fix it properly

    Not so much. I see plenty of bits and pieces of mats being sold. Also if I list a full 200 stack that's what I want to sell, not 5 of them. Really don't need those leftovers back, thx.

    Also disguises need their own tab. Apparently there's some issues with it since some are specific to quests but they are trying to find a way to do it.

    That was an example. And its not Costco....most people sell items the same price no matter how much of them they are.
    Its not about freeing a slot in the store its about buying a set amount out of that stack.

    You wouldn't be getting leftovers back your items would still be in there. Yes it would be leftovers but someone else would come along and buy them eventually.

    There's too much clutter in the current inventory system, causing micro management issues. This could be lessened by the following improvements which would retain the integrity of the current system but provide a much tidier way of managing it.

    Trophies -> Collections (a Trophy Cabinet from where they can be activated and hotlinked)

    Disguises -> Collections (a Wardrobe from where they can be toggled on and off)

    Crafting Mats -> Materials Bank (with proper filtering / sorting and increased stacking)

    I could add a couple of items to that list.

    Stack laundered items into the main stack. I am tired of seeing a stack of something plus a half dozen individual ones that I laundered so they could be banked. Stealing mats is bad enough without the excess space they take up.

    Stack exact duplicates of constructed weapons and armor so they can be banked efficiently for another character to deconstruct. I know they are exact since they appear as a stack in the deconstruction screen even when they appear as 10 or 12 individual bows or bracers taking up slots in my over-crowded bank. I prefer to choose my own time sinks, thank you very much.

    I agree but I think it would be hard to implement.

    But,it says "stack items" at the bottom of the page there when you are in the bank.Just click on it and the items in the bank stack.Just like in your inventory.And you can split stacks too.Just right click on your stack and split.
    As to making it so you only buy a part of what someone else is selling,..no. They arent selling their items piece meal.They want to get what they offer it for,and in the entirety.
