now, as for this one, why is the Alik'r Desert the player favorite place in the game?

Lore (home of the redguards and other nomadic tribes)

I like the culture of the residents. I found their extreme (to a fault) reverence for the dead interesting.

Cities / Places (from the large capital city of Sentinal, to the small desert oasis)

I like the cities, Sentinel looks like an ancient city with some the the more interesting residents in it. Everyone seems to have a unquie story.

Redguard women are gorgeous. Just finished Vollenfell moments ago....oh Tharayya....she can't be trusted but, oh my, is she beautiful....even more so before version 1.6, alas. Oh, prepatch Redguard light, how I miss you so....

And Redguard men are....men. The character models for Redguards are superior to many.

Practically speaking, it's simply easier to quest there because navigation is much, much easier.

Ah, I really liked the lore too, so it's difficult to decide. Especially the more Crown inclined stuff. I've always found it fascinating.

The Fahara'jad vs. Crowns/Tradition vs. Ash'abah vs. Suturah and co. plot was very well paced imo. Despite there being several parties involved, they were very distinct in there roles, and it was clear how they contributed overall. It was a good story. Coming out of Rivenspire, my expectations were set pretty high, and it held up nicely. My only gripe was that:

Uwafa was killed off way to early. He appeared in all the companion books, so I assumed he'd be a much bigger player.

The environments were great as well. Idk Alik'r was just a win for me.

Alik'r desert is a boring wasteland. As much as i get bored of so many trees having 8 AD characters.. Nothing makes my heart sink more than some Hot smelly sandy place filled with zombies..

Perhaps it's due to flashbacks from going to Ibiza.....

Regada woman have nothing on Bosmer females.







Their looks combined with the strange 19th century London accent makes the Bosmer a winner in my eyes.

I like the architecture. Redguard buildings are so colorful! The clothing style used to be nice too. And Duneracers are cool, now that I think about it.

I love the landscape. In my opinion, too many areas have really rough terrain with 90 degree angle cliffs. Alik'r is one of the few places you can ride in a staight line for a long time.

And because... REDGUARDS ARE THE BEST!

The dog at the gravestone. Single most moving thing in the whole of ESO. Only thing coming close is Argonian culture, but that is not tied to location.
