Kicked for Spamming?

Last night I was playing and spoke in guild chat saying like 2-3 things and was kicked from the game and given an auto generated message about spamming. Two to three lines of text over as many minutes seems to not be spam. I checked with my guildies who also felt that the chat I had done (which was only in one channel) did not constitute spam in any form.

I have heard of addons causing spam problems but have been using the same set of addons for a while now with no issues. This did occur shortly after signing in ...like within 2-10 minutes of logging in with a character. I submitted a help ticket but just saw that those are 3-5 days behind at the moment. So I call upon the community for any possible explanations? Maybe a lag spike caused the !messages to process simultaneously on server side causing the kick? Also does anyone know if this kick is recorded in a player file?

Thinking back on it there was a strange event earlier in the evening (and seemingly unrelated) where I typed two lines of text and they had a delay in appearing. When they finally did, 2-3 seconds later, the order had been switched and my second message displayed before the first message.

Nah. It´s when the server laggs and you keep pressing buttons like running around, jumping, chatting etc, your inputs are on hold. As soon as the server recovers everything goes in at the same time. Thats when you get kicked for spamming.

It actually happens to me, when i have a gamefreeze/lag/whatever for a few seconds. After that when the game runs normal again, i suddently get a message for getting kicked for spamming. I think they changed the text on the popup recently that it might me caused due to connection issues.
So don't be afraid to chat, this most likely has nothing to do with the error message

This isn't held against us for future issues or anything like is some jerk reports me for something they aren't going to be like...."oh see here on march 24th he was kicked for spamming.....we better go harder on him...." Cause that would suck when its entirely out of my hands.

ZOS are well aware that this message is just crassly worded, there have been 'green' posts saying clearly that this isn't a actionable 'offense'.
