Favorite location in the game ROUND 2 (previous winner, Daggerfall Covenant)

there were just about 200 votes and I want to thank everyone who voted, DC had a large lead but AD tried to pull it away at the last second, alas however DC won the day.

so now we have a vote of what zone within the Daggerfall Covenant is the player favorite, and finally after that, what location within said zone. so vote away and let your favorite location be known.

Rivenspire for the story and my experience there. At the time I did not know of the specific conditions for catching vampirism, so I assumed it was like other TES games:
There is a chance every time you make contact with a vampire.
Rivenspire has, ah, unhealthy vampire population. To make matters worse, I am a melee fighter. Let's just say: Silver Bolts spam.

Crippling fear aside, the story kept me as riveted as the plague, attempting to save a dying land. The four moments that carved themselves into my memory are...
The liberation of North Point. More survival horror mixed with some realistic military strategy - sieging the walls while using a hidden tunnel to sneak in. The whole story of that city could make a game unto itself (likely FPS).
Meeting Captain Kaleen's crew again, and them clearly remembering my choice from back then. It really stung to be faced with such a grudge. And it brought home the reality of the world. One of those moments in gaming where "once I move on, this will be behind me" and it comes back to bite you in the arse despite all expectation.
The lad with a few screws loose whose mother turned. I... still don't know how he's alive, nor how he keeps popping up right when I need a path forward.
Silver bolting bloodfiends on a hilltop graveyard to reclaim a lost item, turning around to leave and seeing I am at the same altitude as a Dark Anchor's portal. Humbling is a modest adjective.

I had to vote for Stros M'Kai. its what made me fall in love with ESO during Beta. and because all that characters I create are AD (to play with family and friends) I very rarely get to see it (Cadwells Gold) and even then only for a small amount of time, needless to say I take my time doing those quests ^_^

Hard one. I like a lot of DC. But the moment I set foot on Stros I was happy.

I also liked all other DC area's. But Glenumbra and Rivenspire where my 2 favourite area's after Stros.

If there was player instanced housing I wanted to live in Rivenspire, but now I think I rather live on Stros.

I don't know why the love for Rivenspire; the whole area looked like a barren wasteland to me.

Voted Stros, because beaches? Check. Palm trees? Check. Not a huge, sweltering desert like Alik'r (even though I probably enjoy the Alik'r architecture the most)? Check.

Stros wins, hands down.
