Would you like to see an Oblivion-style arena put in ESO?

Dragonstar Arena is fun and all, but after doing it a few times what's the point? I, for one, would love to see a true arena complete with PvE, PvP and its own skill line. The replay value that would come from it would be unparalleled. PVE could include a wave or survival mode where groups see how long they can last against hordes of enemies. PVP could be anywhere from 1v1 to 12v12, though I think 5v5 would be sufficient. Make it so that you could reach the Champion rank by playing PVE or PVP, that way all types of players are happy. The only reason I've heard ZOS give for not making it is that they think it would kill Cyrodiil population, but I simply don't agree. As long as top tier items that are only able to be purchased with Alliance Points exist, people will play AvA.

    Wouldn't a "True" Oblivion Style arena still just be "Truly" PvE?

    Otherwise you're not getting a "True" Oblivion Style arena.

    Yes, give me a true, Oblivion-style arena.
    The Imperial City Arena was probably the most fun I've had in any TES game.
    I was very disappointed they couldn't implement some kind of arena in Skyrim.
    Sadly Cyrodiil is not PvE, so I don't see that ever happening.

    Even if and when they add the Imperial City to the game, I just don't have a high hope for PvE players. It's not like we'll make the Imperial City our Capital in the near future. Perhaps some day, when the "War" settles down.

    No. An Oblivion-style arena would have everything the actual game did, but with additional, optional, features. That's why I said Oblivion-style instead of just Oblivion. I'm saying give us a true arena that's Oblivion styled. If you don't want other players in your Elder Scrolls experience, then don't play Elder Scrolls Online.

    Yea I don't think this Arena could, or even should, be inside Cyrodiil. It would have to be in a neutral zone like Craglorn.

    Sad to see that this thread and really entire topic has died down. When I first heard that the Imperial City DLC was coming out, PVP Arena similar to Oblivion was the first thing that popped into my head. Sadly we didn't see one, but I still believe it's not too late. With how many people have wanted and hopefully still want the Arena to be made I think we could definitely still see it come one day.

    I think this would be a perfect way to introduce dueling. Instead of being able to duel someone by an interface drop down menu, you have to go to an arena. Also you could make it even more interesting to where you could queue up for a 1v1v1 with each member being from a different faction.
