Think of it as a free L2P tutorial on the house! Soon you will master the skills of dodge rolling, equipping hit points on your gear and/or attributes instead of going overboard glass cannon, and how to not stand in the fire! Advanced courses include counter sieging, using the alliance war skills to make siege damage not hurt you as much in those cases you do get hit, and how to cleanse debuff through group wide communication, creating plans including but not limited to having a healer slot Purge, a a or a Templar leaving cleansing aura on the ground for you to synergize yourself!
Congratulations! Once you have mastered these lessons you will be prepared for basic Realm vs Realm play in Cyrodiil!
Who would win, 24 meteors interlace-spammed 5 times apiece or a single ballista?yes it is and its good! no zerg anymore

I've heard countless people say "just roll out of it" or "watch for the big red circle"...When you are taking a keep and there are 20 people sieging in relatively the same area, you are bound to get hit. As a vamp one hit means death. It is what it is.

It was a known factor that the guards were going to be significantly weaker compared to the Siege damage changes going in. The guards are currently intended to be a deterrent for players without siege weaponry but if you do have a weapon, have at it.
In the overall scheme of things with the current focus on spreading people out as Paul mentioned, if more players can take resources requiring less players to do so with the aid of siege weaponry than could before, this can encourage players to do so.
All that being said, we are looking at the server performance and gameplay experience after these changes and will adjust them if needed
