OP you have been EXPOSED . . . go back to your botting syndicate and come up with another hair brained scheme.

I don't honestly care about bots.

You would if they were still in game, blocking quest progress, picking the crafting mats clean, and closing off access delve XP and dyes.

Sounds like other players to me lol.

With Delves... you'd walk into the final room and see a ring of identical characters in the Cold Harbour rags standing around the boss. A literal ring, not five or six, we're talking 30-40 of them crammed together into a single coherent ring. They'd all fire off killer's blade or puncturing strikes the instant the boss spawned, before it was actually possible for you to see it. They'd keep getting credit, and you couldn't advance.

With crafting mats, you'd see bots teleporting around between nodes, harvesting them and teleporting to the next one, or zipping between them at impossible speed (sometimes flying). (I never saw the teleporting bots first hand, but I did see enough of the zipping ones, including the infamous flying bots). After the initial wave, the teleporters started bouncing around under the terrain. So you'd see a node, run towards it, hear it being harvested and then watch it disappear. If you were already on the node, sometimes you could get a brief interact prompt with the bot (the normal "Press F" to interact with a player action). It was impossible to get ahead of them, and in some cases, when the bots were thick enough, especially on smaller maps like Stros M'Kai or Bleakrock, they would actually clear the map out. There were players back at launch who were reporting spending 30 minutes to an hour farming materials and coming away with less than 10 mats total.

With breaking quests... I don't remember specifically. They would roll up new characters pick up meet and greet quests or other point to point quests, and just bounce between the objectives. I remember hearing this actually breaks a couple quests in game for anyone else trying to run them, but I don't remember which ones.

    Haha. Yes.

If not, Damn. Stop being so selfish.

The bot prevention measure is a godsend to this game after the dungeon campers /salute.

I posted a thread earlier about warp ins from random players earlier, but it was ignored.
Personally, I'm seeing more people in game who can run at ludicrous speeds and are warping. Certainly since the 17th.
I suspect "le Botters" are back to see if they can generate monies from the game now it's no longer subbed.

It's certainly possible. It's also worth remembering you can do a few things to increase your movement speed in game, including medium armor perks and The Steed sign. Combine that with a vampire or Night's Silence and Concealed Weapon, and you can get some crazy movement speeds going. Also, in some cases a mounted character's horse might not actually render. I've seen this a few times, including on my own characters.

That said, it would kind of surprise me if the bot cartels aren't looking to make a return.

Ok wtf?? I can't delete characters anymore? The game says that I'll be able to delete someone again "after a period of time." How long is that?? So basically I can't play until the game decides to give me a back a deletion charge, unless I want to *** around on some random character while waiting for the charge to come back. I want to remake my main character and I can't even do that. This is so stupid.

    You have 8 Character slots.

You could have remade your main with any of them. If you were unhappy with any of those, you could have deleted them.

" So basically I can't play until the game decides to give me a back a deletion charge"

That's your own choice. If you don't want to use any of the other character slots that they so graciously provided you, that's completely up to yourself. Don't know why you would do that.

I want to use the same name, is that really so hard to understand? "Graciously provided" me? I payed $60, I expect more than 1 character slot. The whole thing is BS.
    How you do it:
    1. Create characters with different names. You have 8 slots to do it. Make screenshot of the sliders. When you find the look you like, remake it with your chosen name.
    2. Install the PTS or the NA client for more character slots.

    Either method works.
