If i can afford to buy a new car, but somebody else can only afford to buy a used car should i not buy the new car because its unfair to the other guy.
I realize some people feel slighted by some of the choices made by Zos, but remember this is still a business and Zos is in it to make a profit. If they can provide some personal entertainment to the player and make a profit how can you fault them. Personally, if i was in their upper management i would have put the crown store out 30 days before launch and given players access to the store through the website to increase sales.
I understand that this may not be what a portion of the player population wants to hear, but the harsh reality is the majority of big title games do this regularly. Welcome to capitalism, gaming is a $4 billion dollar a year industry and everyone wants a piece of the pie. As long as somebody is willing to buy it, they will sell it.
If you think about it, Zos was pretty smart to give us 3600 cp then nerf grinding spots, limit enlightenment time, and then offer exp boost in the crown store. While i don't necessarily agree with this, but i still have the choice to not buy exp boosts.
