There's actually no option for that (unless they've changed it recently).starbuck1771b14_ESO wrote: »you shouldn't have to just be sure to bind your second account to your first.

That would be really awesome if true, i.e. the binding accounts. I guess I'll have to make a "just in case" e-mail address and go through it unless I get an official ZOS reply before then.... I'll let you know what I find.
And so begins part two of the nefarious storage problems. Bring in b2p so everyone buys a mule account.
Yeah, I've got 16 characters that I actively play (although since 1.6 dropped I still haven't gotten around to re-assigning attribute & skill points on a bunch of them - these things take time and careful consideration). None of them is a mule.

Hey there @wraith808,
If you would like to open a second account, you do need to provide a different email address. Currently it is not possible to link accounts either. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Awaiting answer from developers or their representatives, not the unwashed masses of which I am a part of.
So it has started another thing WoW does, linking accounts. In another year this will be even further away from being anything like the Elder Scroll games.
On up side maybe millions of players from WoW will come to ESO and make the game better or just easier?

Yeah, well, I don't remember Arena having customer support, so already ESO isn't a real TES game!So it has started another thing WoW does, linking accounts. In another year this will be even further away from being anything like the Elder Scroll games.

How is a an avenue of account functionality a bad thing? This has nothing to do with lore, game mechanics or anything else that makes ESO unique. Literally all it does is add ease of use to the account settings.
Complaining about this is like arguing that ESO should not have customer support because, "WoW has CS too."

And the correct answer is: NO GOOD REASON.
Solution: SELL ADDITIONAL CHARACTER SLOTS IN THE CROWN STORE. NAOW!!!!!!
Problem solved.
You only need to look at the financial drivers.
1) Put it in Crown Store for 500 crowns per slot (most players will use the 1 month subscription, get 1500 crowns and buy 3 characters) - little to no real revenue stream for ZoS.
2) Make people buy a new copy of the game (anything from £20-30+) and have the hassle of re-logging every time and mailing items to each other...royal PITA and people will give up, but ZoS still have the B2P money. Better revenue stream.
Doesn't mean I agree with it, but hey, what do I know
