Yes I know this. What does that have to do with the size? This patch is only 1-2 gigs they say. Basically its nothing the big patch was 1.6.

I'm surprised by the lack of forum post, it's like we've gone 1 year back in time, they were getting better =/
Also surprised that we can't even start downloading yet. O-o Was hoping to get some time in before the riff raff comes in. /snob Must be pretty huge, sounds like a risk before B2P release day though? Usually big patches have many problems after.

Pretty sure it doesnt let the non sub paying accounts in until tomorrow.

Update and maintenance, kinda different, I assume they are tidying up and prepping/polishing the game for the reviews when b2p comes. The update that follows after update 6 is the big one to fix all of the issues we've compiled over the last 10 pages

They said the patch is less than 2 gig. Doubt we see a massive amount of bug fixes with it.

otoh, you can fit a lot of bugs into 2 gig of download, so at least we have that to look forward to.

They didn't say it was the biggest patch, they said "biggest maintenance". They have to make changes to accounts, turn on the Crown Store, and all the other things needed to be done for Tamriel Unlimited.

The update/dowload for 2.0.1 is rather small. 1.6 was the big one.

Maintenance on the server is what takes time today, since they are cleaning everthing up for Tamriel Unlimited tomorrow. Updating accounts, cowns etc...

Once the server is up again it should take much less time to download compared to 1.6.

Seems like all this should have been done already. Ah well then I hope tomorrow it isnt down all day too again for another maint or whatever. Been having a lot of downtime lately.
