I was just going to start putting points into this. If anyone has screenshots, video, or crunched numbers to post to verify and clarify this (not to doubt the OP but to help speed along the reporting and fixing of the issue) please post it here.

Elf born does not work for crystal shard crits, we've tested it.

I have at least 20 points in that one and I haven't noticed any extra crit dmg/healing either.

Getting a bit expensive with the re-specc'ing.

glad to see this was overlooked for Tamriel Limited. Just a suggestion but in the champ system, if you're not going to make sure the math is working properly, put an *DOES NOT WORK next to each of the passives that you broke/didn't test.

I know that the Harvesting passive works. At times I collect up to 7 items from one node, wood, plant as well as double runes at times.

less crown store, more bug fixes. Please do not turn this game into another craptastic mmo, circa Cryptic Studios. Fix your broken stuff, develop new core content, leave the crown store as an afterthought.

Not to throw oil on the fire here but no one should be putting any points into Elf Born at this point.

You get far more damage increase from your respective damage increase abilities.

If you have a 50% crit rate and 50% base crit bonus damage increasing your bonus crit damage by 25% only increases your total damage by 11.1% and this is about the *Best* it can get. If you're running less crit or have more base crit bonus damage your damage % increase is less.

By comparison the damage increasing abilities increase your damage by 25%

I agree though it should be fixed.

Forget the Elfborn Skill and go with Blessed(healing) or Elemental Expert(DPS). I've found that my healing is a lot better with all points in that and nothing in Elfborn. Maybe they will fix this one day but until then use something else.

well of course its better when one works and the other doesn't =p I don't mean to be snarky but this needs to be fixed. That's not an excuse to ignore the problem. I've already put all of my points into blessed, but that's not what i want to do, i want it split between the two. "Play how you want" was their mantra for ESO. What it should have been is "Play how you want provided we have working code".

It seems there are a few not working. I recently posted about one of the champion points from the same exact tree that wasn't working. Gena got our info and said they would look into it. Hopefully they fix it.

The fact that it does not work on heals like it says makes it even more useless.

@ZOS_GinaBruno can we get confirmation that you will fix this so it's not 99% broken anymore please? Same thing with the spell penetration talent, it does not work either...which leaves the star tree 50% broken overall...

Good point. The reason why I chose to put a hefty amount of pts into this is that my damage is magic & fire. However, as a templar i rely on a good amount of heals as well. So (around 40% crit) I thot it would be smart to boost elfborn so I get bigger bangs from both dps (offensive) and healing (defensive). Kinda sucks to know it doesnt work - since I just respecced out of erosion reading it didnt work either...

Fix this pls - less crown store, more bug fixes!

The discrepancy is due to a specific factor.
My Nightblade had an Assassin ability slotted which raises crit bonus, so ditching that the numbers that come up are:

Funnel Health non-crit with no Elfborn: 3326
Funnel Health crit with no Elfborn:4990
150% increase

Funnel Health non-crit with Elfborn:3326
Funnel Health crit with Elfborn: 5156
155% increase
Elfborn 30 points gives 10.8% increase to Crit Bonus; 10% of 50% (default crit bonus) is 5%, which is exactly the amount of bonus that it adds.

As a fun aside, here is with the Assassination skill slotted instead of using Elfborn, which also gives a 10% increase to Crit Bonus:
Funnel Health non-crit with no Elfborn:3326
Funnel Health crit with no Elfborn: 5156
155% increase

Both the Nightblade 10% crit bonus and the Elfborn 10% crit bonus are functioning the exact same for their increase to damage on my character.
Interestingly, the Nightblade bonus is currently working for Healing as well, even though Elfborn is not.

The discrepancy in the initial test would be the result of the two bonuses being calculated separately and then being added together, rather than the Elfborn bonus being calculated off the total after factoring the Assassination bonus.

I don't have that passive ability on my templar, it just flat is not working. all crits are exactly 150% of base damage/healing.

Hotfixes are for Nerfs only. Took them what, over 2 months to fix Purge, an essential skill that was broken in PVP? This doesn't surprise me at all anymore.

I reported this after 1.6 went live, they've had time enough. They figured out spell erosion wasn't working, they broke, then fixed crown store pots... not to mention a plethora of other miscellaneous crap, they can fix this too.

I am getting the sneaky suspicion that a lot of the Champion Point skills are not working the way they are suppose to.

Such as the one for staff damage. I put points in it and see no change in the damage I do with a staff on either light or heavy attacks.
