I know this like the 100th thread about the guards, but I hadn't really experienced anything until now. I lost upward of 6k worth of stolen goods because no matter how many times I pressed R to cast Corrosive Armor, the game refused to listen and just let the guards keep stunning me over and over again. Then, on top of that, they can just magically see through invisibility pots, as they rooted me with that 50m range talons even though I was invisible.
Yeah yah, I know l2p, be a better thief, yadda yadda. The point is I know I could have escaped if the damn game would have been responsive to my button presses and being invisible actually meant something.

ryanmjmcevoy_ESO✭✭✭Did you even read the post lol The game was unresponsive to my button presses, even without being stunned, and somehow invisibility doesnt work on the guards. What's even better is once I respawned at the wayshrine, my ultimate got cast finally lol0

OP has game issues (they remind me of cyro issues, esp that ult popping after spawning) and ppl are like 'im glad the game wont roll over you' - the OP had clearly the game beat, in this case a simple predictable guard who any1 can escape. not being able to escape them does kind of suck. You could prior to the last patch. I don't think it should be easy, but definitely needs to be possible.0 -

✭Guards seem to have an INSTANCE kill, which they can trigger after about 15 seconds in combat.
So you have 15 seconds to escape, then you die.
I guess this stop one play from training all the guards away to let others steal\murder.
Also if you have lag.... you will never escape. Still, I like the system.
I would like to see one change. The name of the skill that instance kills you changed from "PIERCING BOLT" to "ARROW TO THE KNEE"Edited by Natjur on March 15, 2015 11:53PM0
