So I was walking around Stormhaven, having just walked out of High King Emeric's large house (not much of a castle, really), and as I was walking to my next quest, I hear one of the Elite Lion Guards say "I love to crush skulls and eat sweetrolls, and I've no more sweetrolls."

I couldn't help but laugh at that.
Argonians always and forever.

I grimaced when i first heard that.. i personally dislike pop culture references in games such as this. Leave that kind of thing in "the game that shall not be mentioned"

I love these sort of 'localized' references.

Still... I'm sad ESO has no arrow to the knee joke.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

Pretty sure in Eastmarch i heard a few "arrow in the knee" puns.

    Also, did you know...
In Nordic/Scandinavian countries, "taking an arrow to the knee" meant that you are getting married/already got married. It refers to when we propose, we fall to one knee, comparing it to when a man gets shot in the leg, he, of course, falls to one knee.

Also, in Rivenspire there is a character Reezal-Jul - IMO very similar to Ra's al Ghul (from Batman comics).
    Make sweetrolls, not nerfs!

That's awesome to know! Thanks for sharing. I feel like I've expanded my horizons today.

Of course, the original "and I'm all out of bubblegum" quote isn't from Duke Nukem, it's from a Rowdy Roddy Piper movie called They Live... Actually, a large number of the most memorable Duke Nukem quotes are lifted right out of various action movies. Off the top of my head I know they cribbed lines from Army of Darkness, Predator, and Star Wars. Probably other too.
