Problem with DK/Destro abilities

It seems that I have a problem with consecutive usage of some abilities that involve target relocation/stun. For example, I used to use the following combo: Extended chains->Unstable flame->Fire Clench. Now it does not work - Fire Clench knockback is not activated. Same if I replace Fire Clench with Obsidian Shard - the latter does not work. It works if I use it separately but not in sequence or within one fight. Opening fight with Fire Clench and doing Extended Chains afterwards either does nothing or pulls PLAYER to target. Anybody could check that out? This problem really bothers me as I cannot play the way I prefer.
