If this wasn't based on ElderScrolls, would you still be here playing?

    Yes
I do care the game is based on elder scrolls, it's a nice bonus. But the reason why i came to play it in the firstplace was the 3-way alliance war.

You are polling those of us that have played a while. A companion question would be "would you have ever started if this weren't an Elder Scrolls Game?"

But no, I would have never even tried this game, if it weren't set in Tamriel.

I would have quit because of the broken grouping mechanics, if it weren't set in Tamriel.

I would have quit because of the lack of underwater exploration, if it weren't set in Tamriel.

I would have quit because of the lack of intractable furniture, if it weren't set in Tamriel.

I would have quit because of the lack of player housing, if it weren't set in Tamriel.

I would have quit because of the lack of sand-box features, if it weren't set in Tamriel.

So, in the end. I'm here because it's an Elder Scrolls game. This game, judged on it's own merits independent of the Elder Scrolls franchise, feels like an 'old' game. When compared to the other games that have come out in the past year, and will come out this year, ESO is pretty lacking in features and diversity of content.

Oh... and I'm sticking around... because it's set in Tamriel.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

Yes, and frankly the game would probably have been better for it by having a user interface that is usable and intuitive, informative and clean, instead of needing to be fixed up with tons of addons for basics. Being able to target allies for heals instead of so called "smart targeting" would be a plus too. And name/guild tags for your faction would have been in at launch and a minimap for example, and third person camera options. While the Elder Scrolls setting provides some good pre existing lore and a solid world map, it has probably hurt the game more than helped it overall. This is especially true of the need to keep both single player and mmo fans happy at the same time.
-First-Wave Closed Beta Tester of the Psijic Order, aka the 0.016 percent.
Exploits suck. Don't blame just the game, blame the players abusing them!

-Playing since July 2013, back when we had a killspam channel in Cyrodiil and the lands of Tamriel were roamed by dinosaurs.

-In-game mains abound with "Nerf" in their name. As I am asked occasionally, I do not play on anything but the PC NA Megaserver at this time.

No probably not. I was attracted to the story and the setting etc. If it was some cartoony clown game like Wildstar Id avoid it like the plague.

I would of never started. And they way things are going I may not continue. I am waiting to see the crown shop and If it does not have anything I like or the Promise of a DLC is a false promise, or unrealistically so far in the future to be laughable I will cancel the so called "Plus" part of this game and only occasionally log on.
