DEV Attention - Server's experiencing extreme lag.

Khenarthi's Roost seem's to be getting hit with large lag spike's, and not updating quest's for multiple people within the zone. Not sure if other area's are experiencing the same problems, but it's more then just a 1 or 2 people having this issue across the entire zone. Just a head's up if you're not aware of this yet.

NA, quest's aren't updating, attack's are doing nothing, familiars are just standing still, npc's are just standing around wen you attack them, attacks are largely delayed if not just disappearing.

Well with a patch tomorrow hopefully they've found out what's causing all of the issues. Also apparently Greenshade is also having the same problems.

Apparently I need more coffee today as I can't spell to save my life...

Greenshade is an absolute mess, but I guess the upcoming patch will get it sorted

I've been getting bad lag on NA today as well, in Stonefalls (vet version for AD). Pretty sure the problem isn't on my end, as I almost never get any lag at all.

Yeah Khenarthi's Roost is pretty broken, at least on NA server. All mobs/NPCs are there but don't move.

Some quests can be worked around by logging out and logging back in, which makes the quest NPC's spawn near you if they are meant to be following you.

I also didn't see any lore books anywhere on the island, which I thought was strange, but it may be normal for that place.

Is this maybe related to the shift to DST? Seemed to happen around that time.

I doubt something like DST could cause this problem... but then again... computers like to do weird things so who knows.

we had a 5min server freez in sanctum today, nice to see what actually is calculated on client but not so fun for the actual try in the end he did like 15 slams in a row and the fight resumed with everyone dying..fast^^

Khenarthi's roost is pretty bad. Most mobs won't move when attacked although they will fight back if you melee them.

Any quest where an NPC or mob needs to do something also isn't working... the thunderbugs won't attack the rat mounds, the dryad won't move to go bless the roots, the assassin won't come to warehouse to leave the note, etc.

Any word when the Cyrodiil lag might be fixed @ZOS_GinaBruno ? It seems to still be really terrible. FPS dropping to teens in large battles.

That's normal regardless of your set up, Lag and FPS are two different things -_-

I know the difference. I was adding it to the lag problem. Ping was at 500 before I completely lost connection... please don't pretend like this is still not a problem. Thanks.

I've only played for a few hours since 1.6
I've done a fresh install, yeah that sucked, lowered all settings to medium or off and it's still lagging for me.
I've died more due to lag than anything.
I'm an avid pvp Player and dread entering Cyrodil until I figure out wtf happened and am able to fix the problem.
You know because it's obvious it's on my end, not the other. ..

Craglorn is doing it also. In fact everywhere is.

Oh, almost forgot. I went down to my Internet providers office with my rig and told them what was going on. One of the guys is a big gamer in town and said it was no problem to test it on their own access.
We set up in their work shop and connected to their in house system, which is absolutely the fastest, Un regulated, straight from the source, pure Un cut Internet.
I started it up and after a half hour of playing, the guy looked over at me and said "You pay for this ***?"
"Your problem is on their end, not your set up, and not our problem." i told him about being told by others it must be on our side and he just laughed. He felt sorry for me.

PvP is completely butchered atm, I've ground one chump point since release and haven't gone back. There isn't one Dev post in the AW section saying they are aware/working on it.

Great customer service ZOS almost as good as the time I was getting the 201 and the phone rep told me to "LOG ON REALLY FAST COPY AND PASTE YOUR PASSWORD AND SPAM IT LOG ON REALLY FAST" did not work needless to say.

Really made it sound like you couldn't tell the difference. There were a tonne of people who didn't that I spent a tonne of time explaining the difference too when 1.3 was released.
