2 weeks reduced respec cost PLEASE?

Please can we have a reduced fee for respec costs until Match 17th? It would give us as last minute "bonus" before Tamriel Unlimited and would definitely help us when trying out new builds/abilities

They did it before for cheap and I don't think they had changed nearly as much as they did this time. Would be nice to have.

I agree. They have already stated that the "free respec" they gave us was instead of this option, but I think respecs should be discounted as well for 1-2 weeks. There were a LOT of changes, and sure we got a free respec... but that only helps us once. The cost is still enormous in order to play with different set ups.

Even just making the morph reset discounted would help.

I have a hard time believing you are being so stingy on this ZOS. How on earth are we supposed to know how to reallocate all our attribute, skill and now Champion Points when we have to learn to play the game all over again practically from scratch? This REALLY is not fair. In fact, I feel you owe us AT LEAST TWO free respecs per character at this point.

Agreed it would be a good idea for those of us loyal customers that are still subbing. FYI, I don't think it is owed to us, just a gracious courtesy when the game has changed so much.

You guys are aware that the game will always be in a constant flux, right? You also know that skills are particularly more susceptible to changes after big updates, right?

How about picking skills you like and wait until the patch settles down before thinking of respeccing out of your respec?

ZoS feels like they did us a favor by letting us respec... HAHAHAHAHA

I loved my build as it was! now my build is totally dead... FREE RESPECS should be a GIVEN for the time being so that the players like me who got screwed over can at least have a chance to find a new reasonably viable build.

Respec should me free or 10% of what it is now. My magicka NB dies in seconds and doesnt deal any damage. i need to try out more different items.

Your supposed to spend all your gold respecing to figure out the new system guys. It is how they intend to remove the gold you have all horded during the beta before the launch from the economy.

Fair? Just be glad they didn't wipe your toons. That was what they wanted to do.

Yes I am aware of this. Although usually they don't also change all the numbers as well. They did not simply multiply everything by then.. health vs mgicka etc. got changed.. and SO many things got changed that when I read over a tool top "Deals 500 magicka damage...." I am thinking "uuuhhh... is that any good? Is 500 good? Or is that like pricking the guy with a needle?"

What really messes me is XXX critical rating. WHAT THE HECK IS THAT? I don't understand. Crit rating is your CHANCE of criting. Give me a percent, or fraction.. or something. I don't want to have to google/go to the forums so I can find the "max crit rating" so I can do the math myself. Put it in the game.

Oh yeah, for sure! There's no point of reference for any of the information given... but neither did you when you first started the game. Why is this any different? Or are you merely frustrated at the thought of relearning everything?

Your best bet is to look at all of the skills, remember what they once did, compare the new WTF numbers with other current skills and judge whenever or not you think it's worth the skill point. You will most likely make mistakes but my point is that trying to min-max at this stage is futile and quite honestly you only have yourself to blame.

I mean, I blame Zenimax for not figuring this stuff out before the game was released (talk about sloppy), but the need to constantly respec is on you. This is the first day since the patch, let the meta settle first.

Precisely so. Hence the need for more consideration than just a single forced respec. People will make mistakes, and a short period of reduced respec costs would enable them to make good those mistakes without being penalised for them.

Regarding the bolded portion of your statement above, what's the source on it? Curious, because this is the first I've heard of a character wipe.

And, if true, it is a good thing Zeni didn't do it. They likely would have lost a lot of the player base.

This was never planned or talked about. I don't know where this guy is getting it from.

You get one respec once you login to your character. Attributes and skills both. But with the numerous changes, I think people want to be able to create their build more easily without paying full respec costs each time.

Skill point respect costs do not need to be changed. The resetting of CP should be cheap for the first few weeks since it is new and offers much room for error in a system that is very complicated for those who did or could not check out the PTS.

I disagree, I made an easy 60k simply by vendoring all my 'old' provisioning mats.
That should pay for a few respecs.

Reward for selling discontinued matts is unconnected to the new CP system. Additionally, it makes an assumption everyone stockpiled matts and has the same mother load of newly worthless matts.
