Is 'Fire Rune' An AoE Ability?

Hey, I'm looking for a new AoE skill and was just wondering if the Mages Guild skill 'Fire Rune' (including it's morphs) is an AoE ability. Will it only affect the first enemy who enters it, or will it affect all enemies? If it affects all, how does it work exactly because when the first enemy enters, wouldn't that cause the trap to disappear?

the first enemy stepping on the rune triggers the effect as an AoE.
the AoE radius is rather small though...

Its like a Trap.
You place it on the ground, and the first enemy who enters it triggers it (with about half a second - a second delay).

Although the first one isn't much special, the morphs are prety fun.
Vulcanic run explodes, throwing MOST enemies into the air, which puts them out of the fight for a second or two.
The other morph just causes a Burn DoT on the enemy.

(If multiple enemies are within its range when it goes off it will effect multiple enemies. A well placed Vulcanic rune can (atm) throw up to 6 people into the air)

Watching this happen is hilarious and awesome. If you time it right, you can place another one and they'll get thrown up all over again.

I love raining down volcanic rune on attacking forces. It's hilarious as multiple people are just blown up into the air. See a guy on a siege weapon? Throw a volcanic rune at them. See a group of people buffing themselves for ultimate? Throw a volcanic rune at them. Let the hilarity ensue.

Volcanic Rune is also a lot of fun under a trio of Lamia - it's like opening one of those gag "mixed nuts" cans. Except the gag cans don't run over and bite you afterward.

It's an aoe only if you throw it under a group of monsters, which is easy enough since it has such
a long range, but it won't likely hit more than one monster as a trap with monsters walking into it.
