1. Should not be released yet. Unfinished
2. Should be released immediately its perfect.
3. Should be released, it has flaws however its a great addition.
4. Don't release it, your not listening to us ZOS ( the players )
5. Unbalanced ( one word I have seen allot on the forums )
6. Release it but FIX SORCS. ( for all you sorcs out there )

Easy way to tell zos what you think about its nearing release. If they 50+ or even 200+ 1's. Would ZOS still let it hatch onto live?

I think the release will be a disaster, as was every single patch since the start of the game

But I really like the changes to the game. It may be imbalanced, sure. But so was wow, at least the first two years of its existence.

#4 and #5 The upcoming patch is a complete disaster:

The disparity in power between avatars with lots of champion points and those with few champion points is tremendous - in a game breaking way.
Sorcerers are useless except maybe in PVP (have not tried that so far) because their pets soak up healing intended for other players, their pets add incoming damage to the raid (e. g. Aetherian Archive: the mage with her chain lightning will hit more targets the more pets are about), pets attack crowd controlled enemies, accidental boss pulls by pets, ... And sorcerers have no viable builds for endgame PVE except for the pet build (no tanking, no healing, no non-pet DPS)
Weapon swapping is still broken and clunky as is the entire user interface
Edit: Oh, and there are too many bugs with patch 1.6.4 - but game breaking bugs have never kept the game designers from releasing a patch, so it will not keep them from doing so this time either.

3......i'd like to see this update released already. I haven't experienced any game breaking issues so far and i've been having some fun on the pts. I think it will be ok going live with the patches released so far and it may help the dev's isolate bugs and prioritise fixes with everyone playing and being forced to work through them.

The upcoming patch is treated like some kind of relaunch but when they bring up 1.6.4 in it's current state, the relaunch will fail - again.

But: they have to bring 1.6 live before 17th of March.

6. Release it, but fix Sorcerers - and a few other things.

There are many things I am looking forward to in 1.6, like the justice system, NPC clothing, the new mounts system, more inventory space, the crown store etc.

However, I have already expressed my concern regarding the impact that locked houses might have on the RP community (many RPers enjoy playing in houses, pretending those houses are their own for the time they RP in them - again, we are eagerly waiting for player housing).

Regarding Sorcerers, I want to be able to play a pure mage, wielding a destruction staff and wearing robes, and feel competitive and valued for it as a team-member. As far as I understand, that will not be possible. I feel that might be a severe constraint on my ability to "play as I want", but luckily I am also levelling up a Templar wearing medium armor and using a 2-handed greatsword. I just don't like the feeling that I might be forced into that playstyle in order to be competitive.

Absolutely my opinion!!
And after some testing on the PTS I can tell you there will be many new ways to play your sorc.
Also for staff and people who always wanted to try the (still useless) pets. And I mean it, with still being competitive, thats my major concern, too.

For the housing part(I like rping, too) I guess we still have to wait atleast 1 year + to be implemented
(or ever...

)

There is a lot to like in this patch. It shows tremendous ambition, and it will revitalize the game for many. I also love the fact that I will never be level-capped. I'll be able to progress a little bit every time I can play for a few hours. I like the CP system.

For sorcs, the combat team needs to start taking feedback from people who play sorcs, and thus view them as characters more than targets.

You could take it a step farther and ask why people make polls on issues that have been comprehensively decided, too. 1.6 is coming, and it's driven by deadlines unrelated to stuff we bang out in the forums.

Its not ready for release, to buggy and there is glaring balance issues that will hurt the health of the game. i know they have to push it out next week at the latest because they need to make sure there is no kinks before march 17th. but that doesnt change the fact its not ready.

ps. sorc is weak and needs a proper buff/ rework before march 17th.

Well PTS is supposed to be about testing discussion on PTS, not about "hey share your mind or let's vote on this". Go post in General Forums.
