New idea: Scrolls

Hey all,

Why we don't have scrolls in game? This would be nice addition especially now when you have just one buff max of each kind. I personally would love to have scroll of Standard of Might as sorcerer

Nope. Spellcrafting is how you will add a spell to what you already know and you will need a skill point for that. I am saying scrolls - without any skill points, etc.

Scrolls, yea! Like old ones that predict the future!

Why hasn't anyone thought of this before?

Good question. Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim all had one-use scrolls that cast spells without using any magicka. I don't see why they couldn't exist as quickslot items in ESO.

If they had scrolls it would be a consumable like potions that you could quickslot. I think its a great idea. Make it so Number One. If they did this as well as Spellcrafting this game would really feel like an Elder Scrolls game. If they had weapon combinations, I would be even more excited about the game.

the blues are on a jelly roll
banana's in the cupboard wait til the smurfs are all asleep
then they raid the pantry, in other words their keeps

berries on the starboard side
getting back doored by the tribe
consume the scroll of save our asses
and somehow they survive

There are scrolls in the game, they're found in our scroll temples in Cyrodiil, they give the whole alliance a buff.

If they added scrolls why not just get rid of classes all together? Which would make more sense
