The cost of Motifs will likely go up a little right after 1.6 hits Live but then simmer down in a few weeks once people realize Motif farming is no more difficult in 1.6 than it is on Live right now, it just requires a little more care while looting and 1 additional 10-13g step.
Legendary Tempers might increase but it's hard to say as players are flooded with them right now. Kuta however may go up dramatically based on the absolutely horrible Global drop rate that we tested on PTS of 1.8-2.2% via all sources.
Recipes are a hard one to call as the prices right now are stupidly low. At first when 1.6 hits Live expect the prices of at least the new VR10 Recipes to be high, but I don't honestly see the rest going through the roof so to speak.
Nothing else really looks like it will increase or decrease in 1.6 other than maybe Martial Knowledge VR14 to replace Soulshine VR10 Jewelry for high turn over at a good price, ~20K each or so.

+1 for insightfulness... Good analysis, and I agree, but I do have to ask what the additional 10-13g step is.
As for recipes, I am starting to toss green ones rather than sell them if my bags are full.

Refining of Legendary Tempers is roughly the same on PTS as it is on Live, ~5%. Hirelings got an astronomical decrease for Legendary Tempers and a large decrease to Kuta. Writs are where ZoS increased both the most. When you turn in the Writ and get the Coffer to open the drop rate of Legendaries in that box has gone up significantly.kaorunandrak wrote: »So what is the nerf to the refinement of items? so we will no longer get legendaries from hirlings...
these writs had better be a good replacement.

They've GOT to rebalance crafting writs. As it is now, you can make provisioning, alchemy or enchanting writs practically for free (about 3 materials required per writ, in enchanting you only ever need white glyphs), while the other professions require something like 60-100 materials, and they're not balanced among them.
I did writs only until I got the achievement and IIRC clothing required the largest amount of gear, and therefore materials. After a few days you find yourself having to dedicate some time to harvesting nodes so you can complete the writs.
I would like to see clothing, woodworking and blacksmithing writs require about the same materials, and the number of pieces required for the writs reduced to 3-5 instead of the 8-10 that you currently need to make.
