Bring back Crit % on gear instead of using some garbage number

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

There was no reason to "WoW-ify" this game...though something is telling me that was the intent to make this become a copy set in ES .......

The game should indeed show us a percentage value over a rating number that means nothing to a player that isn't already very experienced with the game. It's ZOS job to present a nice UI and presentable numbers, and thus these rating numbers should be converted to a percentage display, or at the very least it should display both.

Here, have 7542 goodwill rating. Now, how much is that exactly, you ask? Well, you gotta figure that out for yourself!

Even if critical rating makes more sense then percentage, it's not user friendly. I'd like to have option to show both values on the tooltip, something like:
    (2 items) Adds 664 (3.2%) Weapon Critical

If you can do that with an addon, I feel ZoS should just simply change the numbers to %. For weeks the devs refuse to even comment on the number inflation, or the crit value change. All of the number changes were so inconsistant, but making the numbers larger and changing the crit rate away from % was not nessesary. Most people (if not all) dont care about .8 increase in a xx,xxx number...

Please give us back our % crit value and not force us to use an addon... and reduce the large numbers back to there smaller 1.5 values again. We know the numbers have been nerfed, its just smaller numbers are easier on the eyes.

Zos changed the vet ranks because enough people complained, maybe they can change the UI too.

You can probably buy back the % number in the crown store.

yes, agree, what does 2099 crit raiting tell me? nothing, absolutely nothing.

Learn to math or use a mod that converts it once created and it will be created. Programmers don't like using fractions. It messes things all the hells up.

It is the exact same complaint as whining about using metric over imperial. Get used to it. Don't be afraid of change.

For the love of god this isn't a backend issue at any way, it's strictly an issue where there is no way for the user to determine the number without comparing it with other similar numbers in order to figure out whether or not it actually makes sense to use the item providing it.

Programmers don't like fractions? Based on what? Please by all means, elaborate how on earth a decimal would screw things up whilst programming. Sounds like you could use some lecturing, no sir, you need to learn common sense.

The OP makes a good point and I can't imagine that it will stay like this for too long, magic numbers are stupid, keeping it simple has always proven to work in these cases.
