Ability bars should be INCLUSIVE, not EXCLUSIVE! All 12 ability slots should be considered 1 bar, simply divided into 2, depending on your weapon choice.

- Every ability that has some sort of active/passive benefit, whether that's a class, guild or weapon skill, should apply to your character at all times, regardless of which weapon you're wielding at the time.

The battle was ferocious. I waded through my enemies, Wrecking them with my Greatsword, until I was pinned to the floor by a luminous spear from above. I gathered my strength, summoned my Hardened Ward and continued my assault. A rush of power filled me, but there was something I'd forgotten. If only I could reach that Templar with my magic, but magic wouldn't do. I sheathed my greatsword, then drew my bow. A sharp pain pieced my mind as memories came flooding back, Crystal Fragments! Of course! But, it was too late. The rush of power had already faded.

- Toggled abilities should only require 1 slot to remain active, regardless of which weapon bar they're on.

Heaven forbid, my Clannfear and I are hunting in the woods and I trip on a root, dropping my staff. My companion disappears before my eyes and I'm mauled to death by a bear!

ZOS, think about this world you've created logically, and do this!

    You forgot the line about:
    I sheathed my greatsword, then drew my bow...

    Weapon swap.
    This isn't WoW, and personally I like that all my ability buttons are within reach of my fingers. Also, it takes skill to master fluid rotations that require weapon swapping several times to be effective.

    My point is that even in your RP'ing you had to swap weapons.

    Ahh. I think you misunderstood. I prefer the 6 slot bar as well. I simply mean, both weapon bars should be "counted" as one. Abilities, toggles, passives, etc., on either bar should affect your character at all times.

    sadly most builds have like 2 real skills and 3 things you have on it for their buffs thats what i thought about when reading the title ;) would be nice to seperate buffs from skills somehow... so you can actually carry 5 skills you want to use

    I agree.

    It is not fun playing a sorc with so many toggles on both bars.

    Passives from abilities on your off bar that are toggled should remain active.

    I would love to be able to bind keys to abilities on specific bars independently. For example if I had a restro eqiped on bar 1 and a desto on bar 2, and if I had bar 1 active and hit a key bound to slot 2 on bar 2 it would weapon swap from bar 1 to bar 2 and cast the ability in slot 2.
