Siphoning Strikes Thoughts?

Nice that the debuff was reduced a little and it works on damage shields. Disappointed that they didn't do something with leeching strikes as siphoning attacks still seems like the only good choice. One question though, does it work on blocking targets as well as damage shields?

I don't think I'd use it still. Other toggles are good with no debuff.

    It's headed in the right direction but needs to be at LEAST another 5% minimum (the damage debuff should be no more than 10%).

    It was a good skill under 1.5x but with the removal of the soft caps and the different way damage is calculated, that 22% hit is a REAL 22% (well 17% now)

    Does anyone know if it will proc off both blocking and damage shielded enemies? If block disables it, it's pretty much useless for pvp.

    siphoning strikes procs on blocking enemies.

    wish leeching restored at least 4-5% heath per strike instead of just 2%

    I'm glad to hear it got a buff. I wasn't sure if I was going to keep using it.

    The debuff is now 17%. With siphoning Attacks off i happen to have Spell Damage 1686. When SA is on, the Spell Damage is 1400. Looking good.

    Very nice change. If they give leeching strikes some love next, I will be a happy nightblade, because at the moment, there is no reason to go for anything other than siphoning attacks.
