You get 10% more xp/influence/ap/gold during that time and you'll most likely get 1,500 crowns as well. Doesn't sound like nothing.

i must point something out here, it is a pretty mount but by no means is this a senche mount, it is wrong by lore, Senche-Tigers are a form of Khajiit, and the largest great cats in existence. Described as monstrous cats, the senche-tiger stands as high as a large horse at the shoulder. Their forelimbs are as thick as columns and half again as long as their rears, giving them an apelike appearance. Senche-tiger coats are tawny, ribboned with stripes the color of dried blood, and their feral yellow eyes seem to promise evisceration. These massive beasts are as smart as any other Khajiit, and can often be found serving as steeds for their more humanoid cousin, the lore has been broken, something as simple as this i thought they would have got right, call it a tiger mount but not a senche tiger would have been ok but this has broken the lore and the game to some degree.

Never heard of different breeds of dogs? Also they said it'd be a Senche, not a Senche-raht, which is a "small" difference if you take lore seriously. Maybe that's also the reason why it's not bigger, since other races might have issues trying to ride one of the bigger kitties?

No. If you have less than 30 days subscription after changing subscription model, you get nothing. This is my situation.
I want my loyalty reward and I proved that I am a loyal subscriber, but i don't want donate ZOS my money.
I pay only for the goods, and after 17 March, I got nothing. No DLC, no crowns, only useless bonuses (i have 2kk gold, 14 veteran level, and studied all the traits).

From what I've heard you'll get 1,500 crowns for every partial month remaining after the switch.

Got 10 days left? 1,500 crowns.
Got 72 days left? 4,500 crowns.

in the lore there is only one senche tiger which can only be ridden by Khajiit, this has been the case since elder scrolls one, my point is that it should not be called a senche just a tiger. thats like putting vivec in eastmarch

Beta players won't expire before March 17? I have two 6 month subs, May to November and November to May.

It also gives me 5,500 crowns according to PTS.

Your subscription will automatically turn into ESO Plus on March 17th. You will get 500 crowns for the box, 100 for each previously played month and 1500 for the remaining days. You do not need 30 full days remaining. From the FAQ:
"For example, if you have 30 days or less remaining, you will receive 1500 crowns. If you have between 30 and 60 days remaining, you will receive 3000 crowns. 60 to 90 days, 4500 crowns."

As for the fat nords riding senche; I would actually re-roll a nord if they ever introduce a horse that scales a bit larger than the ones do now for your character model. Would actually love a supersized all the way around character.

We have been arguing about this all over the forums ever since they announced their intent for the mount back in beta.

We have had people drop their sub at the mere notion of it.

But for all that, maybe you will you will be the first to actually cite where it states that senche exclusively carry khajiit, and more importantly, where it says they
would never accept another race onto their backs. (or be enslaved to.)

I am actually genuinely curious. That text would put a lot of tired arguments to rest.

Also, there are two types of Senche. The Senche, and the Senche-Rhat. The Rhat is a much larger variant.

There is no part of the lore that says other races can't ride senche, so it's possible other races used them. Though I agree, based on the vast absence of examples in all avenues of lore a continent wide sighting of senche riders of all races makes about as much sense as armies of Thu'um wielding Khajiit clashing against armies of Thu'um wielding Argonians (which thanks to the same loopholes is also possible).

Its not lore impossible, despite how absolutely implausible it is based on our previous sources.

I don't think Senche tigers (or this mount) are Khajiit... they're a breed of Tiger. Kind of how the Maned Wolf isn't a wolf,

Khajit riding a Senche with a panther pet ftw!

Im wondering if it will be a single Senche for only one character or if they will unlock the 'pattern' for all the characters on your account?

Edit: Precedents are Loyalty pets are single use for one character only while Imperial Horse is account wide for every character.

In 1.6, pets and mounts go into your collections tab which is accessible by all of your characters on the same account.

After this re-correction posted by ZOS_GaryA:
    • The 300 days of paid time does not need to elapse prior to March 16th.
I wholeheartedly stand by my original statement again which was the following:
The idea is probably that players read this and will buy 6 months of ESO Plus before March 16th to get the Senche mount. I don't know a single person that has been subscribed for that long (there is no grace period, the date when I had to pay a subscription fee to play for the first time was May 11th 2014; add 300 days to that). I know lots of players that have been subscribed for about 150-200 days, though. Oh well. Expect Enlightenment potions to be released in April for maximum profit.
Also, you can only access DLC (new zones for example) for as long as you are subscribed to ESO Plus? Did I get this right?
    What a comedy...

    300 days is so much.
It's a reward for loyalty,if you haven't been loyal, why do you think you should get it?

make no mistake these are not loyalty rewards these are pacifiers to make players forget about all the lies we have been told and to make the horrible way they handled the B2P transition feel a bit less insulting.
Things change, you can adapt or move on. I've been around since Novemmber 2013, as has the majority of my guild. Was B2P a surprise or a disappointment? Sure, no doubt. I don't harbor any ill will towards ZOS or this game because I still love them and the game.

If anyone is to blame for the B2P conversion and a lack of content as of late it's Microsoft and Bethesda(softworks); because of Microsoft's refusal to waive XBL sub fees for ESO subscribers. Which I'm sure lead to the console delay and most certainly lead to the development of a cash shop, and ultimately the B2P conversion.

It's a reward for supporting ZOS, or in other words being loyal.
This is why these are pacifiers not loyalty rewards. ZOS mistreats their players lies to them and then when things seem like they are going critical they pull out the proverbial ice cream cone to buy a little good will.

You can call it whatever you want, but by definition they are loyalty rewards. Regardless of what purpose you think they do or do not serve.

[Moderator Note: Edited quote to match moderated version]

So much for loyalty anyone who pays for 300 days worth of sub time before March 16th gets the tiger

    Hey there everyone,

To clarify, the information that was posted in the Road Ahead article is correct.
    • You must have paid for 300 days of game time prior to March 16th in order to qualify for the mount.
    • The 300 days of paid time does not need to elapse prior to March 16th.
    • This time does not need to be consecutive.
    • The 30 days of game time that were included with the initial game purchase do not count towards the mount
    • Days compensated by customer support also do not count.

Does it really matter if people who don't plan on playing past March 17 go and buy 30 days time to get the mount? No. Why? Because in 6 months time they won't be around and then the mount will actually seem exclusive. I was choked because I was at 295 days March 16 due to not getting the game until mid April. (I never lapsed) I already have the time on my account to get the mount, always did. I'm happy they made it this way.

People who are loyal will be around in a year to show off that one time mount. The unloyal will not be. And we will race past all the new B2P people on our Senche :)

Think of the exclusivity of being able to transfer your account to console.. With your Senche. Boom!
