Will previously destroyed rewards (beta test mud crabs, etc) be unlocked in the collections UI?

Over the past year, though either inventory space problems, simple oops moments while deleting an alt, or other such reasons, some of the rewards delivered through the mail have been deleted. These are one-time account bound rewards such as pets.

Since we will be moving to a collections system where rather then having a "physical" item to use on a single character, it will be unlockable in the UI, will all the items that an account had qualified for still see them unlocked even if they no longer have the pre-1.6 item?

I really miss my old buddy Barf the Mudcrab. If only we hadn't been stranded on a desert island for so long.

One pet I never received on live due to a bug (the dwemer spider from a public dungeon quest) does appear in my collection on Test. So, in that case, they didn't just translate stuff in my inventory to stuff in the collection. They obviously checked either the achievement or the quest completion.

That may mean that your mudcrab will reappear.

I got a monkey and mudcrab in my collection even though they were not part of my inventory. This made me happy as I was going to scream and throw a fit to get them. lol

Same goes for me, also I did get others back I destroyed.

Getting the collectibles back may be caused by the switch to the PTS rather than live and it doesn't necessarily mean that your deleted items will be available in 1.6 live.
For example, while my bristlegut piglet was in my character's inventory before the save, I had to get it from the mailbox, just like the imperial and beta rewards. On live, the mails probably won't be sent again.

We can confirm that YES, you will receive Pets and Mounts in your Collectibles menu based on the things you’ve done, not based on the items in your inventory or bank. For example, if you redeemed a code for a piglet pet, and then deleted the pet item, you will still have the piglet pet in your Collectibles window when Update 6 arrives. The same applies for Collectibles received from quests (such as Razak’s Opus), Loyalty Program pets (like the Ice Wraith), or any other source.

Yes, collections are account wide. All of your horses, costumes and pets will be available to all of your characters no matter where they were bought or earned.
