To fix this issue, we recommend players try and run the launcher as an administrator (right click on the ESO icon on the desktop, then select Run as administrator).
If this does not fix the problem, the impacted players will have to delete their launcher folder (default path C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\Launcher) and download the launcher from their account management page https://account.elderscrollsonline.com to reinstall it.
