I wasn't really talking about CPs either. The character I used wasn't a template, but my main, so I only got the standard 70 Champion Points I'd normally get when this thing goes live. I used those 70 CPs for what I thought would be best and went into battle. So the stats I had are essentially what I will have when update 6 is finally released, +/- here and there.

Obviously, if you do the template and have 3600 CPs, things are gonna be a bit easy. But, I was simple agreeing that even with 70 points, you can create a pretty powerful tank, almost OP. In my experience, at least, tanking hasn't been nerfed. If anything, I've found things easier. CPs help, which one could argue is good or bad (I know people don't like that you need CPs to almost get back the power your 1.5 build had). I've found that the passives from those CPs have been awesome for survivability and resource management with the new system. I have actually not tested a template with 3600 CPs yet, so I can't comment on that.

As for armor sets and jewelry, I craft my own stuff and stats have been alright for me. Hence, I couldn't really speak to the disparity between sets you find and those you craft, which I know is a topic of debate. All of this said, I do have my critiques of update 6, and don't like everything they've done. However, my experience soloing around Craglorn (delves, anomalies, rifts, etc) with my tank has been quite positive. There aren't a lot of people in my guilds when I usually log on, so I don't know how AA/HRC/SO and DSA would be.
