New Game Redemption Before Tamriel Unlimited

I've read the FAQ but I still require clarification on this matter.

If I buy a new copy of the game and redeem the key before Tamriel Unlimited is released is the "30 days of game time" that comes with it treated as a 30 day subscription?

A couple of follow up questions.

If I redeem a code now, the "30 days of game time" will expire before Tamriel Unlimited launches; giving me at least "500 crowns for having a game account", but would I also get an additional "100 crowns for each 30-day period you have been an active subscriber" if the "30 days of game time" counts as being an "active subscriber"?

Further to that, if I redeem the code at a later date so as to have the "30 days of game time" still active when Tamriel Unlimited launches on March 17th will I also be: "automatically enrolled in ESO Plus for the remainder of your subscription period. You'll receive the full benefits of membership, and 1500 crowns for each 30-day period remaining on your subscription. For example, if you have 30 days or less remaining, you will receive 1500 crowns"?

the 30 days of game time have never counted as subscription. so it will now or then not give you extra crowns. this is all based of paying a monthly (or whatever you chose) fee. so you will get the crowns for the purchase, not for the 30 days.

that is how I understood it.

    Hey there @DogEyedBoy,
If I buy a new copy of the game and redeem the key before Tamriel Unlimited is released is the "30 days of game time" that comes with it treated as a 30 day subscription?

The included 30 days of game time with a purchase of ESO does not count as a subscription period. You would still receive 500 crowns for the game purchase, but you would not receive 100 crowns for a 30 day subscription period (assuming the code was redeemed >30 days prior to TU) or 1500 crowns for the remaining subscription time (assuming the code was redeemed <30 days prior to TU).
Further to that, if I redeem the code at a later date so as to have the "30 days of game time" still active when Tamriel Unlimited launches on March 17th will I also be: "automatically enrolled in ESO Plus for the remainder of your subscription period. When Tamriel Unlimited launches on 3/17, you will no longer receive 30 days of subscription time with the code redemption. As this is the case, you would still receive 500 crowns for the game purchase, but you would not receive 1500 crowns nor 30 days of ESO Plus.

Hope that helps! Let us know if there's anything else we can clarify!
