What the heck are with the minor deities guarding the town?

Seriously, what was the point of getting the mage and fighter's guild to cold harbor, and then going to all the trouble of getting empowered by the amulet of kings to fight Molog Bal when basically 1 or 2 town guards could have been told he has a bounty on his head and they would have taken care of it for 126 gold?

Seriously, town guards should at most be level appropriate to the area you are in, and if VR14s are smoking them just send bigger hordes of guards at them or add bounty hunters that are over powered to hunt them.

JUST SEND THE GUARDS IN TO KILL EVERYTHING.
    molag bal
    all celestials
how about forcing a peace treaty since all the heads of factions are weak.

    would req 1-2 guards max.

You must be new to NPC dynamics in MMO's. This is a common practice at least as far back as the mid '90's. If you took everything as "immersion breaking" then technically, why can't you move past a zone wall, or why was Molag Bal killed by thousands of players over and over again. He should have been killed once.

Certain aspects are in place for balance and controls. You ask for a super powerful bounty hunter to come into play, well that's what the guards are. It would be no different.

I just wondered earlier today why ALMSIVI didn't just slap Molag Bal down.

Strong guards? Appropriate for the justice system, imo. Players will find ways to cope.

We have no coping mechanisms now that moon sugar and sweet rolls have dissapeared. When you are accosted by these OP bullies they take whatever pittance you manage to scrounge from barrels and crates. Food you had to take to feed your 11 sickly children, and they mercilicly remove it from your person without Just cause. I have no doubt they have a warehouse in imperial city FULL of OUR sweet rolls. Folks can only be pushed so far and then the divine fearing of Tamriel will rebel with pitchforks and torches.
Why, the unmitigated gall of it all! Justice will be served!

Town guards where (baring events with Luke or Vadar) level appropriate in SWG, so I don't see why 12 years ago developers could make faction npc killable, but not now is all I'm saying. If I truly cared about immersion I wouldn't play mmos.

As far as a super powered bounty hunter option, that would I hope happen for more a payout than 126 gold. Seriously if this was GTA I wouldn't have even had sirens yet consider first pickpocket catch is only 86 gold.
