Ring and necklace enchantments

Hey there,

the enchantments for rings and necklaces seem unbalanced/bugged atm. Compared to the set bonuses, i get a lot fewer magickdamage and regeneration, unlike on the liveserver.
Live Server:
Magickdamage: 9 set and 14 ring/necklace
Magicka regeneration: 12 set and 18 ring/necklace

PTS:
Magickdamage: 171 set and 48 ring/necklace
Magicka regeneration: 123 set and 59 ring/necklace

This is indeed odd, especially when you compare reg (59/2sec) and cost reduction (200 per spell) its completly imbalanced.

Plz check your stats here Zeni ;)

I agree. They need to boost these enchants greatly even if it means reducing those stats on set bonuses.

This seems to be an actual hard nerf (compared to the overall blanket nerf).

My v12 Alessian pendant used to give 16 stamina regeneration on live, now it's 47 on pts. That's a multiplier of around 3. By comparison, it seems the multiplier for reduce feature cost is much greater. I don't have a direct comparison but a green diamond pendant gave me 160 or thereabouts, so I'm guessing that multiplier is close to 10.

This means that for jewelry, regeneration has become completely obsolete and reduce feature cost is the way to go?
Please stop making requests for game features. ZOS have enough bad ideas as it is!

Its a total Enchanting nerf (the hardest skill to level and now the least important one). All runes are vastly less useful then cooresponding set abilities, potions, foods, drinks, etc.

Sell your Kuna now, because it will be of little importance in 1.6!

Not quite, while they seem to have screwed most up, cost reduction seems correct - a purple enchant gives 186 cost reduction which is nice and in line with live. The issue is, due to the poor scaling, reduction is the only worthwhile option

I am extremely unhappy about the size of the nerf to Jewelry Enchants.

Lets take a look at VR 14 setup.

Old Spell Damage Set Bonus: 9 Spell Damage.
New Spell Damage Set Bonus: 177 Spell damage

Old Spell Damage Jewelry Enchant: 13 Spell Damage
New Spell Damage Jewelry Enchant: 54 Spell Damage

As you can see in the above the spell damage on set bonuses were increased nearly 20 times while the enchants were increased by less then 5 times.

Enchants like Cost Reduction handled the changed much better, but most enchants were gutted and left pretty worthless.

ZoS made it so now there is only 1 option good option for enchanting our jewelry. Please adjust jewelry values so we have options on what enchants we want.

This is what I found when I used a level 7 enchanter alt at the crafting station(therefore not affected by gear/passives eg cost reduction etc):
    UzCIeDg.jpg?1
Max Health Enchants scaled on a 1:5 Ratio
    Max Magicka/Stamina
    scaled on a 1:6 Ratio
    All recovery enchants
    scaled on a 1:3 Ratio
    Reduce cost enchants
scaled up on a 1:8/9 Ratio
    Spell Resistance/Armour
glyphs scaled on a 1:6 Ratio
    X resistance Glyphs
(eg Fire Resistance) scaled on a 1:2 Ratio
    Spell/Weapon Damage
Glyphs increased on a 1:2 Ratio
    General Damage
enchants for weapons varied between 1:3 and 1:10 Ratio
My orig thread is here, where I've also done comparisons on basic attributes, armour and mobs

I'd like to point out that spell cost reduction actually grants *more* than the tooltip states.

Well, you also have to understand that there is now an "unreducible" portion of each spell now as well as the fact that your spell reduction talents and gear reduce the effectiveness of these enchants by the same percentage.
